We will translate psalm 46-10 “be still and know that I am God” more comprehensively toward the end of this article. It will explain just how important this particular psalm is for humans at this unprecedented time. But, for now, by way of adding context, let us discern upon how wildlife carries out its corresponding duties for their survival, and how humans, as the superior beings, compare.

The birds, bees and the fish

Have you ever observed a flock of birds rapidly swoop upwards in to the sky and suddenly spiral downwards in an instant? Similarly, with shoals of fish, how they dart in one direction and then somersault in another direction instantly and simultaneously. Awesome, I’m sure you will agree. From the human perspective, bird flocking behavior is truly worth reflecting upon in the present coronavirus situation.

The question is: for what purpose are they performing in such synchronized fashion?

The answer is they are praying

Symmetrical formation flying — and rapid dash movement of fish — allows them communicate or connect with their source, their “god”, which — for all of the non-human species on earth — is Nature. In other words, Nature provides the birds and all land animals, including the marine life, with all they need to “know” on survival in their present environment.

Symmetrical vee formation flying by other birds, is also for the same reason: they’re in contact with their guiding source for repenising energy-fuel for their migratory journey. Such is how they receive vital intuitive guidance to feeding places along the way.

‘Flocking’ puts birds into anticipatory mode, they ‘anticipate’ — let’s call this anticipation bird faith or prayer — and then, once this intuitive change commences, is picked up within the flock consciousness – generated by Nature – then change of direction spreads instantaneously though the whole flock in a wave of dynamical intelligence. Flock flying represents group awareness, where no individual bird is in charge. It’s how they keep updated, about each other and the latest survival information.

Then we have the wonderful bees.

Regarded as a social insect, bees are workers, flying solely for a group reason which is to feed and nourish the hive. They don’t fly for the love of flying but simply to find nectar and then return it so that the hive benefits.

Because we’re all connected to the same universal life-force, when we think about it, the concept of birds, fish and insects praying makes so much spiritual-evolution sense. There are just so many ‘praying’ existences taking place simultaneously within this beautiful Eco-system of witch much is ignored or taken for granted. And have you noticed, among all the diversities of nature’s inhabitants – big and tiny — they never set out to harm or disrupt the natural environment. If only human-kind could be like that, we may well ask.

Materialism

So, what has nature-nurturing to do with the present world pandemic: Coronavirus.

Well, as we shall see, it has a lot to do with it, particularly with regards to how humans may benefit from the approach adapted by our co-inhabitants here on earth.

As mentioned earlier, flocking birds, honey bees and shoal fish, and many other species, do not operate individually while in prayer, rather everything is intended toward natural flock or group species survival

Now this article is not about nation-bashing, far from it. But consumerism globally would seem to be out of control, and it doesn’t feel right

This coronavirus treat is schooling us in a survival lesson: Nature is trying to tell us something profoundly subtle in very harsh and crude detail..On one level, amidst all the suffering, the opportunity for change arises. And while coronavirus will pass yes, it’s message of change will linger until we’ve each taken the nature-message on-board mentally.

Similarly with global warming, we’re going to have to come to terms with a new beginning, a new set of basic or home truths, a new order of material priorities, in short, a new order of consciousness.

Take material objects for instances and the present consumerism explosion. In meeting this unwarranted material product demand, technology is having to expand beyond what many consumers can healthily handle both mentally and emotionally. Not to mention the long-term effects of plastic on the environment.

The emphasis seems to be on powerful nations becoming solely interested in maintaining its own ‘patriotic’ dominance, as if the rest of the world flock doesn’t exist or doesn’t matter in the global equation. That, geographically, certain people get food-fed while others less fortunate can be ignored.

Narrowing it down

Let’s say, by way of explanation, there is this macro national dominance mind-set, and within that there is the micro self-interest only mind-set. One is feeding off the other and the cycle of national dominance alongside individual self-interest only continue unabated. Now, of course, there’s nothing wrong with furthering individual and national creativity, in fact, it’s perfectly natural for humans to be creative — this is how we’re wired. But this over-emphasis on ‘me’ mine’ ‘ours’ has reached saturation point.

Nature’s innate intelligence has picked up on this: that something is out of balance on this planet.

Reached our cycle limit

Materialism, illusion, and its associated level of consciousness, has taken humanity to its furthest point of this particular greed-conquer-illusion cycle. And while it’s through cycles of evolution that humanity progresses, at the quantum level, in human evolution terms, it’s not really about survival of the fittest, or, who can become the strongest and most powerful nation, corporation or individual, or who among us can fly the highest faith flag.

Coronavirus is reminding of what we’ve been over-looking, which is: Nature doesn’t forget – it reflects back to us exactly what we send out. Thus, Nature’s message, for our greater good, is to realign and develop a spiritual-cosmic consciousness.

In this area, the enlightened Rishis of ancient India I believe knew the true secret of reality. But somewhere along the long corridor of time this pure wisdom has been mangled and diluted into meaning something entirely different. Lost in translation, we could say.

This pandemic is reminding that our priorities are all mixed up and out of synchronization with the natural laws of Nature. These laws are real and definite and require strict adherence to. Depending on the mind-set, they will serve us either positively or negatively. Thus be careful of how our mind’s are being formed and conditioned..

We’ve become artificialized

Humanity has become over-burdened mentally and emotionally thus creating many kinds of new and unnatural strains and stressors within the human physiology.

The conditioned mind-set appears, that, simply by taking certain medications, everything will be OK. A programmed mind-set, that, once these problems are masked artificially, in a pharmacological sense, then this is fine. But it’s not fine. Because these mind-sets don’t just go away, they’ve become subconscious patterns or addiction mind-sets. Thus, proliferation of symptom-ignorance conditioning continues in perpetuity.

We’ve become almost sense-deadened — artificiality is the new king. This human numbness to reality and the natural environment has led to chronic accumulations of anger and discontent within the human psyche. It has come to the point, that, our once means of natural happiness have become blocked by commercialism and exploitation. Rather than happiness being a simple natural choice of will, much of this outlet has morphed into industries which for many can lead to addictive and compulsive patterns of behavior.

Even much of the ‘smart’ progress sadly, for many, is at the expanse of natural soul development and inter-personal activity. People are now walking and staring hypnotic-like into a fantasy world for the latest illusory world gossip.

What standard of evolution does this represent?

Ascension Consciousness

We’re each created for Ascension unto God-Consciousness. This process takes place within. Spiritual ignorance is what blocks progress in this area. We’re not designed for remaining at base camp level of ignorance indefinitely. To initiate Ascension out of spiritual ignorance, a calibration of mind is required. This being a silent integratory journey, it all begins with mental stillness.

Materially speaking, everything changes. But, conversely, at our core soul level, we’re each Changeless, immortal and eternal. We’re each the eternal Spirit.Therefore, this Ascension process leads to spiritualizing the body and awareness into knowing the Changeless Christ Standard within consciousness. Thus, attachment to the material world and self-interest only, is contrary to our true nature. This ‘contrary’ behavior clings and obscures our Immortal Christ nature.

In eastern culture, which I believe is more advance in the area of spiritual soul development, this ignorance or attachment to materialism, is known as Maya – false identification.

When we consider the lives of the great historical saints and sages of all cultures, and how they approached life, surely getting back to basics would represent major spiritual evolution for this generation too and beyond.

In progressing soul evolution, silence indeed is the loudest form of prayer, it epitomizes ‘back to mental basics..

In dealing with the coronavirus situation, every single person makes an actually difference — including teenagers and younger. Each play their part in bringing about global coherence at this time of great need. The fact is, each meditating soul affects many thousands of the non-meditating community. And if these meditations were synchronized locally, the benefits world-wide would be enormous.

Now that’s a prayer worth engaging in.

Stillness is the way

The first duty of each raindrop — on falling from the cloud — is seeking reunification with the ocean. To this end, practically, the raindrop answers only to gravity – gravity is the medium through which the raindrop reunites with its source, ocean.

For humans, stillness is the way.

Psalm 46-10 is here revealing the medium through we can each reunite consciously with Source. And how we can gain direct communion in God-nature by being inner still.

Be still and Know that I am God – Psalm 46-10 — In translation:

“Be still” is to be still mentally, surrender all inner struggle, “and know”, meaning gain direct experience of transcendental silence, “that I am”, existence, or conscious Now awareness, “God”, eternally vibrating higher-self consciousness.

It’s this dynamic of experiential vibrational silence — such as with Aum, Om. or God — which, when chanted, or recited silently, activates the subtle intelligence for experiential contact with Transcendent Supreme Being.

The important point is, God is a Verb (vibrational) and not a noun (not a static title). Therefore, the word God has a specific vibrational resonance or quality, and it’s this vibrational resonance that the psalmist is informing us to know directly within consciousness. This vibrational resonance in essence is experiential alive Unconditional love, which state reflects Christ-consciousness

From the mire of spiritual ignorance, vibrational ‘I’ becomes the Risen soul which knows — experiences — transcendentally, divinely, immortally.

Lying beyond the relative world of phenomenal existence, transcendental silence brings about unison of soul with eternal Transcendent.God.

All that remains now is for this meditational stillness to be expressed through the body-physiology, particularly through the heart chakra. This is necessary in order to root our expression as automatic behavior in the nervous system.

Finally, in fulfilling this scripture within consciousness — and in conjunction with World Health Organization guidlines — not only are we raising the standard of our own spiritual life dramatically but, through the increase of antibodies or white blood cells into our immune system, we’re also combating the spread-treat of coronavirus immensely at personal and global level. Blessings.

I read recently, about a group of people who became lost in the wildest region of the jungle, and were in great danger. The leader of the group bravely suggested that we might pray. To which, someone replied ‘oh, no, has it come to that’?

Generally speaking, whenever the term prayer is mentioned, it conjures up petitioning words to God. And, of course there is nothing whatever wrong with this positive approach. Accept, after we’ve put out our ‘urgent’ petitioning words there is this perceived delay period, of waiting for God to evaluate matters, weigh up the facts and then respond in some way to our words.

But, there are many wonderful verses in scripture — with regard to our overall concerns — which direct our attention to that of silent prayer activity.

The Bible further reminds us of the need to be healthy in every aspect of our Being — of mind, body and soul – that all three elements are to be functioning harmoniously. The Bible is more than a great work of spiritual insight for the mind to muse over, for mental comfort or ego gratification.

But, with regard to the present threat to human well-being, where does the Bible provide direct practical assistance in our defense against the coronavirus?

It’s time now to really stretch the Bible’s interpretations beyond narrow religiosity and literalism, and expand its interpretation into general physiology-relating areas. I mean, when the scriptures were being compiled — by the learned of the day — they too must have been confronted with ‘plagues’, or viruses of that era.

So, in this context, in biblical language, where specifically does it tell us how we may deal successfully with the situation that now threatens the well-being of the individual soul globally? Where in the Bible can we turn to with certainty beyond petitioning words.

For being spectacularly obvious, I’ve chosen first, Ephesians 6-11-16 and later, Matthew 25:40-45 as prime qualifying examples regards defense against coronavirus.

“So put on God’s Armour Now” Ephesians: 6-13

Regards coronavirus, relating esoterically to these chosen scriptures is of the utmost importance, in fact, it’s vital!

Ephesians 6-11 further states: “put on all the Armour that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the devil’s evil tricks”.

And again Ephesians 6-16 “at all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the evil one”.

When we read “put on ALL the Armour that God gives you”, and, ‘put on God’s Armour now’, how does all this then fit, in relation to coronavirus?

Literal reading of these scriptures don’t offer the immediate assistance demanded globally, but, esoterically, they do, as we shall see soon.

At this point, we need to introduce the word antibodies. For, when we talk of God’s full Armour, this Armour is referring to strengthening our immune system which comprises antibodies known as immunoglobulins or immune blood cells. These antibodies are the miracle workers which carryout God’s work within the physical body, and have done so for thousands of years BC.

Stress

The enemy to a healthy immune system basically is chronic stress: unabated stress is public enemy number one to the immune system. Putting on God’s Armour therefore initially involves combating stress and eliminating it from our system. We do this by activating the flow of serotonin – the happy hormone — in the brain, which, in the process, produces more and more antibodies to defend against any virus entering our body. Without a healthy-functioning immune system, the body, and all its health-giving workers, the antibodies, are left to the ravishes of the antigens.

It’s these antibodies, the good guys, or immunoglobulins, which ensure against the antigens, the bad guys, from depleting or weakening our immune system.

The next verse makes this point even more clearer.

Matthew: 25-40 “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me”

This scripture is truly the greatest verse for assistance regards the present global situation. It has always fascinated me. And even more fascinating is that much of this information was dramatically expounded so long ago by the great Socrates, and also by the ancient enlightened Rishis of India, from where much of today’s Christianity originated.

The obvious and most compelling question is: who are ‘the least of these my brethren’? Truly this is ‘the’ most critical question.

The answer

‘the least of my brethren’ are the atoms, the molecules, the cells, in the body.

The atom is the smallest unit of matter and retains all the chemicals of an element. Thus, the atom can be referred to as pure energy-matter. A typical atom consists of protons, neurons, and electrons.

The atom cannot be destroyed but only transformed. In other words, our entire energy-physicality field can undergo change from a lower vibratory state to a higher vibratory state, but can never be destroyed.

Now, of course, there are many fine morally-based reasons for being kind to other people who may be less well-off spiritually, mentally or even financially, than ourselves. That goes without saying. We don’t need a scripture to remind of us that – it’s in our DNA.

Thus, the words ‘the least’ and ‘brethren’ are reference to the individual atoms and molecules, the molecular/ cellular structure which make up the body’s indestructible eternal energy force pattern.

Without healthy molecular/cellular formation, of course, we cannot know healthy physicality. And, through this mind-physicality dynamic, any activity which causes ‘brethren’ or atom/molecule/cell suffering and decline from optimal functioning, is equivalent to our doing unto our own inner Christ, which potential Christ expression resides within each atom/molecule/cell.

Any ignorance-induced life-style which prevents healthy atom proliferation into becoming a spiritually functioning unit, is doing unto the least, or, we doing unto our own Christ within. We do this unwittingly and spectacularly by lowering the standard of our neuroendocrine system and its participation in producing healthy immune cells in the body temple.

Matthew 26:44-45 qualifies this unwitting behavior even more amazingly. “Then they will answer him, when, Lord, did we ever see you hungry or thirsty, or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and would not help you? The King will reply, I tell you, whenever you refused to help one of these least important ones, you refused to help me.”

In other words, it’s during the stillness of meditation, when transcendental silence is potently to the fore, that each of ‘the least’ — the atoms, cells, molecules — become nourished, showered and cloth in immune strength, consequent of a divinely-empowered Thymus gland and its outpourings of mature antibodies into the blood flow.

What Matthew 26-40-45 boils down to is a lesson in quantum physics, and is particularly relating to the neuroendocrine system, or the glandular system. This scripture is not anything about the literal-religion teachings most of us have been brainwashed into believing.

As expounded here in Matthew, the emphasis now globally is on the need to increase immune-cell activity into the body.

Building Immunity within

While the Armour of God also includes faith, such faith, of course, has to be developed over time. Thus, for many people, the development of spiritual faith is seen as long-term, therefore is not particularly straight forward for some at this time. For dealing with coronavirus today, many are in need of an immediate practical approach, solution, one that works effectively at the atom/cellular/molecular level. But, of course, in practicing the method I’m about to reveal, one’s faith — from whatever culture or generation we’re expressing through – will automatically be activated.

Thus God has unconditionally given ALL people, in ALL generations, the ALL for practically dealing with vital health issues. These viral events happened many times in history before, and is why they’re mentioned in scriptures.

The God-Given Method of achieving a healthy immune system

This, of course, is not a medical overview, obviously. Rather it’s the accumulation of spiritual knowledge based on my own meditative experiences and Self-revelation understanding of the scriptures from their practical perspective.

The practical means, therefore, of dealing with the present world situation, is daily meditation. Meditation essentially is seated yoga also known as Raja Yoga, meaning, ‘Royal Union’. But don’t get caught-up in these fancy descriptive titles. It’s the practice and results that matter totally.

Repeated daily meditation dissolves stress, which in turn allows for production of extra vital antibodies. Which in turn scavenge away any foreign invader(s) antigens which may be thinking of taking up residence in our body due to the invite-nature of residual stress. In other words, don’t make our body attractive to antigens by storing accumulations of deep stress brought on by unresolved emotional issues and wrong life-style choices. Thus prevention eliminates the need for cure.

Often referred to as the ‘floating brain’, thus a healthy functioning immune system knows only to dissuade, disarm and destroy any foreign invaders (antigens) from entering our body — effectively and efficiently.

To further strengthen the immune system, the body, in meditation, secretes Growth Hormone from the pituitary gland. This naturally-occurring process declines with age, hence the need of meditation for its continued vital production.

The Method and how to do it

To start, sit on a chair. Commence with a few left-right alternate nostril breathing: breath in through left nostril and out through right nostril, breath back in through right nostril and out breath again through left nostril – complete about 3-4 repetitions over a two-minute period. In yogic terms, this is known as pranayama. This practice helps induce calm while also oxygenating the brain cells.

Remaining seated, now, with palms facing upwards, thumb and index fingers joined easily, bring the awareness lightly between the eyebrows. Do not force an experience. Just park the awareness here for now.

When feeling settled, repeat the biblical word: Ma-Ra-Na-Tha quietly and silently to oneself. This mantra simply means ‘come holy spirit’. The mantra is only a means of quietening the mind, it does not have any other purpose whatever.

If the mind drifts — and it will, this is normal — pause for a couple of seconds, then calmly, without rushing, bring the awareness back to the mantra and recommence thinking/hearing the mantra silently within. Repeat this momentary ‘pause’ after each ‘mind drift’. This, with practice, deepens the meditative experience.

Start with at least ten minutes per session building up to twenty minutes twice daily. Make this a daily routine of our life.

With repeated practice, the brain/body mechanisms – particularly the Thymus gland — become trained in producing extra amounts of mature antibodies for which to attack and disarm ANY virus from entering our inner territory. And, if we can meditate three times daily, fine, this will further increase antibody production from the Thymus gland – also known as T-cells for this reason. Thus we have the means now of re-enforcing the immune system even greater against coronavirus.

Gradually, as we advance with our daily meditation, a feeling of spiritual growth, of expansion, begins to emerge within consciousness. An understanding, that, yes, none of these viruses can really touch me now. The Armour of God is truly on and my immune system is becoming invincible! The least of my brethren are now dancing and smiling joyfully in praise and thanks-giving!

When Luke 6:31-35 is broken down practically, the emphasis most definitely shifts from the non-participatory to one of a definite hands-on approach. It’s then that we undoubtedly come upon vital additional navigational skills for skippering our soul into Divine harbor.

In its literal understanding, this scripture of course has value, in that, it brings awareness to a universal principle of, what we give out comes back to us: the law of action and reaction, or, the law of cause and effect, also known as the Golden Rule.

But, when examined more closely, the scripture is not really making a statement on outer social behavior, not adjudicating on something that is patently obvious to humans. I mean, how many of us reflect moment by moment on a universal law, or memory reference topics from our physics classroom days?

It’s so easy to just read this scripture and then associate it simplistically as something to be consigned to memory only, and in the process, forego the practicalities involved in its actualization. In other words, intellectual knowledge alone of this scripture is not sufficient. There has to be a tangible method of fulfilling it beyond merely agreeing with it in moral selective ways.

In this context, regards its practical implementation into our live, there is need of a deeper interpretive instruction, regards this scripture.

This article sets context, then, as separate from the scripture’s literal interpretation, reveals how we may apply it in super life-changing ways, as intended.

Unraveling codified scripture

Scriptures, as we know, are heavily codified. They’re not explanatory statements of historical events or relating to certain people. They’re not intended to be taken literally, of referencing either past or future, time-wise. They’re parables, or, metaphorical concepts of conveying deeper insight to self-realization. Therefore, scriptures are pointing within, to the inner aspects of mind, body, soul. In this context, their deeper understanding is veiled by means of codification. This is so, that we may reflect and take conscious steps in seeking answers from within ourselves – known as Self-referral — as separate from adherence to the ‘natural man’ inherited programming, we’re each born into.

Thus, allegorical presentation is necessary, for Truth cannot be conveyed to us directly through written words. While books of course are essential, even vital, Truth is ultimately come upon as Revelation from within ourselves, as direct experiencing.

Natural Man

The biblical term, ‘natural man’, is that level of lower-self, non-spiritually developed consciousness, which exists prior to Self-realization. In this context, natural man cannot become spiritual man / woman merely through selective acts of kindness through the lower-ego level of awareness, or by just thinking he / she is spiritually developed. In other words, a thought of God does not amount to the experience of God. So, unless this scripture fulfills spiritually from within, interpretation of it is through the natural man state of consciousness, of selective conscience appeasing.

Luke 6:31-35, raises an immediate question: who are these ‘others’ as in ‘do unto others as we would have others do unto us’?

To answer: this scripture is not referring to the literal obvious of ‘doing unto other physical people, so they may reciprocate positively unto us’.

In fulfilling Luke 6:31-35, there is need therefore of tangible inner ‘doing’, a process of karmic-nullifying work to be carried-out.

How then can we perform karmic-nullifying work, how can we evolve beyond the ‘natural man’ ‘Garden of Gethsemane level of consciousness, thereby fulfill this scripture spontaneously?

Enlivening the deeper consciousness

Esoterically, “do unto others” is referencing a process of ‘inner doing unto our own inner-self’. A process of inner spiritual development, of enlivening the deeper consciousness cosmically. A process leading to the entire body-temple mechanisms – the 12 inner faculties — becoming sparked into a functioning dynamic established in Christ: that of bringing the inner mechanisms, the temple, into a cosmically-functioning unit, whereby natural man consciousness can be raised into the Christ-realized standard.

In this regard, enlivening the deeper consciousness provides the greatest means of rebuilding the temple from within, from the cellular level, thereby releasing the hidden secrets of Christ potential unto our heart and mind for practical manifestation purposes in our daily life.

Service

At this point, let us introduce the word ‘service’. ‘Service’, in this context, is that which is spontaneously rendered unto the inner faculties. Service here means utter silence, the causal dynamic of enlivening, or rebuilding, the deeper consciousness. Silence is not static. Silence is the great purifier, the great conscience neutralizer. Silence is a powerful inner activity, which, when encountered purely, stimulates reorientation of the consciousness transcendentally, the nullifying Power of karmic carryover. Silence therefore re-calibrates the consciousness and the entire body’s inner systems.

In the psychological and physiological context, the inner faculties, on becoming awakened spiritually — also known as the disciples or followers of Christ — serve as the temple builder. In this process, consciousness becomes served whereby our every thought, word and deed is performed through a spiritual-cosmic orientation, representing vital soul evolution into the Higher realm, into Higher-self I Am potential.

As the criteria of right action – of ‘doing rightly unto others’ — can only be determined through our own Christ-attuned faculties, these inner faculties therefore are those God-given means of rebuilding our temple spiritually. They are the means through which we can individually know and experience direct Risen Christ consciousness through every cell of our Risen temple.

Christ-attuned faculties, are how heart and mind distinguish between right action and wrong action, between positive and negative emotion, between opinionated lower-ego activity and spiritual-soul discerning. The genesis of right action can always be tracked to silence.

What are these Faculties?

Functioning as an interactive unit, the 12 faculties represent potential of full Christ expression. Biblically referred to as the 12 sons of Jacob – Jacob, symbolizing the non-spiritually awakened soul, and the 12 sons symbolizing the 12 non-spiritually developed aspects or faculties of that soul — the natural man level. It’s through these character-forming faculties that the soul fulfills its total potential, its full creative expression.

Other faculties, located along the spine, are the seven chakras, or energy points, which, when activated, open the pathway for Kundalini life force to rise from the base chakra located at the bottom of the spine, to the crown chakra at the top of the head. This universal life force, on reaching the top of the head, awakens the vital pineal and pituitary glands, a level referred to in yogic terms as Samadhi or Enlightenment — mature capacity of spiritual discernment.

Activation of this brain-cranial nerves chakra-glandular dynamic, from their basic natural man serving, into higher spiritual service, remains individual responsibility.

Inner service is also the symbolism behind Jesus washing the apostle’s feet, meaning, cleansing the understanding to function at the Higher realms of discernment, whereby the ‘natural man’ intellect is made resolute in a unified method of joined-up thinking and decision-making.

Five Senses

Because outer perception is governed by inner perception, other faculties such as the five ordinary senses of perception — touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing – are also in need of quickening, desensitizing away from compulsion to instant sense gratification in the material world.

This is what is meant when Jesus said: “bring them (the five loaves/ five senses) to Him (Christ within) Matthew:14-18. The two fish generally symbolize two opposing states of self in need of integration — higher and lower self. This is achieved through left / right brain coherence, resulting in the fully functioning pineal and pituitary glands, located in the brain.

So, back to the scripture in question “do unto others as we would have them do unto us”. When viewed esoterically, the hidden message becomes obvious: if we wish to serve from a cosmically-aligned consciousness, then we must first serve the sources through which such nature emanates. In other words, by serving the “others” within – the inner faculties — we become served by these “others”, which is the same as: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, whereby the process of rebuilding our personal temple can take place.

The 12 faculty centers and their purpose

Peter – faith, as in: upon our own rock [of faith] shall we build our church, our consciousness – pineal gland / center brain.

Andrew — strength of mind, body and spiritual intention – Loins.

James — son of Zebedee, faculty of wisdom, judgement, discernment – solar plexus / pit of stomach.

John – potential of unconditional love – heart.

Philip – power, as in spiritual power through Christ within – throat, root of tongue

Bartholomew – imagination, where creative thought takes form – between the eyebrows.

Thomas – higher understanding, steady intellect – front brain.

Matthew – divine will as opposed to natural man will – center front brain.

James – order, a cosmically orientated mind-body system — naval.

Simon – zeal, enthusiasm, commitment – medulla, back of head.

Thaddeus – renunciation, elimination of habitual error through conscious denial and affirmation – abdominal region.

Judas – life conserver – generative function.

Bringing about ‘do unto others’ level of consciousness

Meditation-silence kick-starts the entire process. To begin with, it initiates inner calm and peace, which, in turn lowers the respiratory system to its lowest possible rate, whereby carbon dioxide excess into the body, is reduced dramatically.

This silence-stillness dynamic in turn reverberates throughout the mind-body temple to gradually form Now awareness, or direct present-moment knowing. Thus, while still functioning in time, we outgrow time’s clinging effect on the soul. Time becomes absorbed into eternity. The emphasis switches, whereby,Transcendental consciousness replaces ‘time’ as our master.

Meditation therefore is the process of stimulating the 12 faculties, of bringing cosmos to the overall mind-body structure, including at the cellular level. Upon entering into mental silence, the first thing we notice is the chaos, the swirling clutter of the chaotic thinking mind. Coming upon this chaotic activity without prior knowledge, has caused many a budding student of meditation to give up, saying: ‘meditation doesn’t work for me’. They say this, not knowing that this mental activity is normal to experience. Here, we may well ask: how am I to meditate through all of this mental disturbance?

The reality is, Heightened silence is ever-present. It’s simply a matter of creating a gap in the thought chain, whereby transcendental nature can gradually become infused into the nature of mind. It’s within this Heightened silence, this portal or gap, that lower-self ego cannot survive, as in, “where I go you cannot come” John: 8-21

Therefore, in the beginning of meditation practice, mental activity is normal — it’s when suppressed thoughts begin thawing and surfacing into conscious awareness, thereby, conscious integration.

Hence another biblical expression Matthew: 5-43-48 ‘love thine enemies’ – ‘enemies’ meaning our thoughts — meaning, withdrawing judgmental attention from whatever is occupying the conscious mind during meditation. But, in withdrawing attention non-judgmentally, there is no conscious effort to love our thoughts / enemies. Remaining neutral, we simply stay present to the activity in a non-involved way. It’s this act of being present within which equates to ‘love thine enemies’.

Thus, it’s by neutral observance in love-silence that the grooved mental-emotional scars, caused by compulsive wrong thinking and misuse of the imagination, over long periods of time, become healed.

Constant re-starts

The first law of the universe is, order. Therefore, it’s by this non-attached observance in meditation that chaos gradually transmutes into order – the mind becoming silence-cultured, acclimatized, or, cosmically established. Thoughts are seen as transient, passing through for witnessing, without need of their engaging.

Because utter silence amounts to inner crucifixion, the lower-ego, in its resistance, in its attempt at maintaining dominance over our free will, constantly tempts the mind back into sense gratification. Soon it becomes apparent that, meditation is a practice of constant restarts after mind-drifting. This too is normal. But, here, each restart commences from a deeper level than the distraction point – no meditation ever restarts from the same level, it never finds us where it left us. This s how we make and recognize progress. Constant restarts are which hone the intellect into becoming resolute, which facilitate experiential expansion of transcendental nature into the entire mind- body-physiology.

So, whether good / bad, positive / negative, the process remains the same, that of watching without opening any thought links.

Entering the Temple

The Bible further reminds us: Jesus — representing the awakening Spark within the soul seeking the eternal Christ Standard — entered the temple: meaning, divine presence setting about dismantling the status quo level of spiritual-ignorance within our overall consciousness. A process of spiritualizing the subconscious natural man state into one of integrated, harmonious-soul ‘order’. A process of disarming the sin-based structures of lower-self mind-sets, and a rebuilding of the entire mind-body structure into one of ‘divine life in abundance’ through Realized Christ within. Truly, this amounts to a transformation of seismic proportion within our overall awareness, spiritually.

In conclusion

When reflected upon non-literally, it becomes obvious that ‘do unto others’ is referring to the re-alignment of the 12 non-spiritually active faculties into active participation in the unfolding of divine Will through our own Resurrected creative consciousness.

This amazing parable, told by Jesus, in Luke 10:25-37, seems at first straight forward in its literal content, until, of course, we drill down and study its deeper ramifications. Cursory reading of this vital scripture, no matter how many times, or even just hearing it from time to time, is not sufficient for its intended outcome. At individual level, for manifestation of this scripture into consciousness, there is much more inner involvement required than first appears on the surface. The reality is, this message has profound implications on how we interpret heaven and eternal life daily in our life and beyond. This article, using some pivotal scriptures in the second half, may help bring clarity in these matters in more practical and relating ways.

As we can gather from the article’s title, it has two main themes: ‘love thy neighbor’ AND ‘the Good Samaritan’. Esoterically speaking, Luke 10:25-37 is here presenting a wide range of coded vital life-growth ingredients for our journey unto finding Christ within, and eternal life. On the surface level, yes, Luke 10:25-37 offers the very obvious lessons, of loving our neighbor, of being kind, moral and generous with others in our interactions, but particularly with our love. And, of course, no one would disagree with this in the slightest. But, really, did we need two vital commandments to remind us of what should be the natural expression for us humans? Surely, deep down, as intelligent beings, the highest known of God’s creation, we would figure this to be obligatory human behavior? But, Luke, here is not referring to the obvious obligatory standard of human behavior, but to something much more profound.

The fact is, that, in order to actually live obligatory human behavior — expression of love, peace, tolerance and kindness — these spiritual values would first need to be Realized directly within, meaning, direct experience of our own Resurrected Christ within.

Something not Working

When we look closely at the state of global consciousness today, and the many conflicts raging throughout the world, from the aspect of peace and ‘love they neighbor’ it becomes patently clear that something within the human species’ consciousness, is not working. Some basic scriptural translations and understandings, have not been grasped, not presented in cognizable detail. It further becomes obvious, that, preaching and generally talking to others about certain scriptures, without having first demonstrated such ourselves, is not compatible with the Bible’s Risen Christ within. In other words, ‘thinking about’ and ‘talking about’ — of sermonizing on love and peace, though truly well intentioned – effect-wise would seem not to be working in the greater global societal consciousness.

In this context — notwithstanding the massive family of spirit-empowered souls generating peace-consciousness into the world, passive participation of literal scriptures generally can amount to merely storing popular scriptures for intellectual regurgitation, thereby, to ignore the undeniable imperative of direct Christ experiencing inherent within all of scripture’s deeper interpretations.

According to Luke, so, in order to be living the above scripture in an automatic way, away from just memory referencing its content, activation of direct Christ-nature into consciousness should be a now-happening-priority. This is when vital scriptures really take form, begin crystallizing as ‘alive within’ for each of us, both in the material world and as eternity experiencing within consciousness.

Moving Beyond Limiting Belief Systems

When mature spiritual awakening begins — when all the inner mechanisms responsible for development of alive soul-based consciousness, are functioning as a Whole — then progress beyond limiting literal conditioning, beyond religious dogma, commences – we grow out of day-school. At another level, a broader range of insightful understanding begins surfacing into conscious awareness previously blocked due to subconscious programming. Spring-like activity begins clarifying perceptions of the relative and eternal realms. Newer insights sprout signifying the inner Teacher, the Holy spirit, has begun initiating consciousness in spiritual eternal matters. A state of unbounded awareness gradually replaces the previous soul-limiting belief systems, leading to an unshackled capacity of universal divine love.

This soul-freeing experience is consequent of the mind’s release from the clutches of generational subconscious conditioning. The inherited institutional, corporate and societal self-serving programming, over many life-times (more on this further down). This non-soul-serving conditioning-dynamic, maintained unwittingly by personal stress, and imposed fear-ridden misunderstandings, is directly responsible for holding the soul in bondage, in spiritual hibernation.

Bringing conscious awareness to this inner stifling, this conditioning-dynamic, therefore, is our number one job in life. The truth is, direct revelation of inner Christ awareness, requires no outsider or institutional overlaying. For, repetition of any message into mind, from wherever or from whomever, has addictive potential – such amounts to conditioning, programming, and is how the advertising industry operates and survives. They are masters at planting the message they want in our brain. Beware.

Divine nature is available to every soul when that soul ‘presents’, ‘surrenders’ in mind without expectations. In this way, Self-revelation, or, Holy Spirit, ensues, and is the way of direct Christ knowing without outsider interference. ‘Surrender’, of course, means inner meditation surrender of all mental effort in its practice. This approach reveals the how-why of our present particular life situation struggle. It disarms the automated subconscious programming responsible for all personal and global misery and suffering. This release in mental freedom, provides the clarity of mind needed by which we can develop spiritually on our journey of integration unto Resurrection and Redemption in Christ consciousness and eternal life.

Against this background, of the need of inner awakening as priority…

Let us now examine the importance of Jesus’ two commandments in Luke

Luke 10:25 puts it: A teacher of the law asked Jesus: “What must I do to receive eternal life?” Jesus answered him: “what do the scriptures say? How do you interpret them? The man answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind”; and love your neighbor as you love yourself”. Jesus replied, Luke 10:28, you are right, do this and you will live”. Then the teacher of the law asked Jesus, Luke 10:29, “who is my neighbor?”

Now, this truly is a most pivotal and poignant question.

Paraphrasing in [brackets]

Jesus answered with this Parable: Luke 10:30–35

30, “A certain man [Adam, asleep soul in divine nature, living through spiritual ignorance] was going down [fall of man] from Jerusalem [higher-self] to Jericho [lower-self: spiritual fall of man]when robbers [inner demons, wrong thinking, conditioning, addictions] attacked him, striped him, [a soul functioning without conscious Christ awareness and inner Truth] and beat him up, leaving him half dead [alive only to his lower carnal mind, and dead to his higher spiritual nature, similar to Lazarus, whom Christ raised from the spiritually dead state].

31, It so happened that a priest was going down that road; but when he saw the man, he walked on by, on the other side [the priest was still functioning out of left brain and lower ego].

32, In the same way a Levitt also came along, went over and looked at the man, and then walked on by, on the other side [the Levite had not attained a capacity of true compassionate love].

33, But a Samaritan [Christ within] who was travelling that way, [Christ remains always with us, either consciously or unconsciously] came upon the man [soul in need of healing], and when he saw him his heart was filled with pity, [direct experiencing through compassionate love].

34, He went over to him [inner Christ is always available to each of us at our time of need, or, in response to intuitive seeking], poured oil [unconditional love] and wine on his wounds [that which separated soul from direct inner Christ] and bandaged them; then he put the man on his own animal [aligning the soul with Higher Self] and took him to an inn, [place of peace / love within leading to further spiritual advancement through inner awakening] where he took care of him [commencement of journey unto Christ].

35, The next day, [period of spiritual growth] he took out two silver coins [silver symbolizing medium of redemption, in this case the mediums being mind and body, our means of gaining conscious contact with Higher Self] and gave them to the innkeeper [instructed the conscious mind spiritually]. ‘Take care of him’ he told the innkeeper, ‘and when I come back this way, [symbolizing second coming of Christ; Christ Realized within consciousness]. I will pay you whatever else you spent on him’ [soul gaining eternal life through Christ within].

Tangible Consciousness Transformation

“Love thy neighbor as thy self” is here referencing the requirement of ‘loving thy inner neighbor’, meaning, the integration process of merging lower-self neighbor into becoming One neighbor in higher self – Jerusalem — without the ignorance nature of Jericho.

Esoterically, Luke 10:25-37 is proclaiming a need of tangible consciousness transformation out of the Adam / lower ego Jericho state into direct awareness experience of our own inner Christ, depicted here as the Good Samaritan – they are one and the same. When Christ / Good Samaritan consciousness is Mature within, then automatically will loving our lower neighbor, Jericho, be happening UNCONDITIONALLY on a Higher level within.

Unconditional love is the big one, for, it’s not based on belief systems, religious dogma or creeds. Rather, Unconditional love is the pure ingredient of Good Samaritan status. Unconditional love is the awakened soul’s out-flowing of true compassionate love, not just for selected ones such as family members, but a universal state of Heart. Unconditional love is when the dominant lower ego is absent naturally, which was not the case with the Levi and the Priest.

Life’s Purpose

In qualifying the previous section, let us remind ourselves of Isaiah. When Isaiah 11:6 stated ‘the Lion (lower self / lower ego) shall lay down with the Lamb’ (higher self or indwelling Christ), this is referring to inner merging, this inner unifying process. ‘The Lion’ would be seen as King (of the jungle), hence the title, King Herod, representing the lower human ego. This unifying of higher and lower self, mentioned in scripture, is our individual life-purpose on earth. In this context, according to Luke 10:25-37 no matter what status in material or religious /spiritual life we’ve achieved, without the flowing healing presence of Unconditional Christ-Love, then our Good Samaritan connection within the mind, body, soul, remains at ‘fall of man’ level. Attainment of Wholeness — Wholeness of mind, body Spirit – therefore, is prerequisite of gaining ‘love thy neighbor’ status. In other words, without expression of Authentic Christ-infused compassionate love, then man-apportioned titles, religious or societal, amount to nothing.

The term ‘Good’, of course, does not mean the opposite of bad. Rather, Good is similar to the ‘Good’ News Bible, meaning, Off God, off Good nature, or, teachings of an awakening Christ within.

Steps of Contacting Good Samaritan and Pure Silence

The question arises: how do we carry-out the integration steps necessary for coming upon conscious Presence, conscious Wholeness, conscious Higher Self, conscious Christ, conscious Eternity? How do we love lower neighbor AS our higher-self neighbor?

Well, thankfully, WE don’t do it. Rather, the integration process is carried on at another level, or, Transcendentally.

But, there is practicality involvement in this process, on our part.

The first step in this process of integration, is, establishing ‘contact point’ in mind, which, is initiated by mental stillness. This ‘contact point’ then merges or transcends into Pure Silence, which then develops into expanded awareness.

Mental stillness, or, meditation, creates and establishes this ‘contact point’ of Now in the brain, which Now contact, over time, expands into conscious infinity, into Mature Christ or eternity consciousness. In this way, ‘contact point’ in Now awareness acts as a trigger for the asleep soul’s alarm clock to vibrate, thereby awakening the individual out of spiritual slumber – think Lazarus again — unto our core nature of eternal life. Without conscious contact with Pure Now Silence, leading to expanded timeless awareness, the conscious mind remains individual, without the cosmic, all-encompassing dimension. Remains intellectual only, remains prisoner in time-bound lower-self, or, spiritual ignorance.

“You cannot go where I am going” John: 8-21

The reason why ‘contact’ with Higher Self in meditation is so vital, is that, the love emanating from lower self is not one and the same standard as divine love, which, as we said, is Unconditional Christ love. Therefore, in setting out towards gaining Unconditional love, it’s necessary that we enter fully into its actual experience. As we cannot give ourselves, or express Unconditional Divine love through a lower state, such as the carnal mind, we must then transcend this lower nature by an inner-crucifying process, which is the hidden message within John 8-21: “You (lower ego) cannot go, (in ego’s present state) where I (transcendental Christ nature) am going” – meaning, lower ego must be crucified.

This place where Jesus is going, as mentioned here in John 8:21, is in regard to the Higher Self, transcending into the eternity of Christ within consciousness. The “you”, referred to by Jesus, represents the lower ego, which in its entirety comprises the 12 cranial nerves or, the 12 non spiritually awakened apostles. These 12 apostles or 12 tribes of Israel, are within each of us. They represent the lower personality aspects of our natural man soul which are in need of integration into a spiritually functioning realm. In other words, the son of man, or, the lower-self, before becoming the Sod of God, Higher Self, must undergo crucifixion, leading to healing and renewal of vital nerve channels or mechanisms within. This in turn opens the links unto the Holy Spirit, the Helper, the Teacher, or, Revelation dynamic into the mind, which in turn brings about direct Christ awareness, or Divine Presence.

This integration – or, crucifying dynamic — is mentioned also in Matthew 17:1-13 “Transfiguration on the Mount (transformation of lower nature into higher consciousness)”; meaning, Transfiguration of Peter, (ego) James, (mental mechanisms), and John, (human love)”.

Silence meditation is pivotal regards these last two scriptures. It’s during the mediation Now silence practice that our individual identity (the lower ego and all its associated false persona activity) ceases, become crucified. Our consciousness gradually becoming transformed, infused of Pure Silence, Joy, which equates to Divine Good Samaritan nature. It’s this ‘contact’ with Pure Silence that establishes Eternity as tangible Presence within consciousness; which tangibility permeates into every muscle, nerve and cell of the body – the eternal Youthful affect.

Many Births – what is this?

Each transcending encounter connects with Pure Silence or, Higher Self. And, on coming out of meditation, the mind returns to its individuality, which we lose during the practice period. Such returning – after dying to lower-self — signifies a new birth. New birth, spiritually speaking, therefore means, a new or changed overall person within. Transcendental Silence thus has transformed lower ego mind – son of man — into Christ Standard functioning. Thus, on our individual journey, of consciously finding our Higher Self, we must lose, or die to, the lower-self nature, in meditation. Repeated carrying out of this process, of losing and gaining, inner dying and Resurrection, is our means of achieving Wholeness of Consciousness referred to in Luke 10:25-37. ‘Many births’ therefore, means, many meditation journeys into deep Now silence via mental stillness – where lower ego personality dies — then on re-emergence robed with a new spiritual personality.

Post Meditation Activity

Finally, in making eternal Presence or Now consciousness the permanent state of Being, then, post meditation engagement in some gentle mental or physical activity, is necessary. Post meditation activity is essential, in that, it establishes capacity for intuitive-based feelings to become ‘set-up’ on our nervous system. It cultures, not only the nervous system into withstanding the on-flow of blissful happiness and deep peace, but also awakens the five senses of ordinary perception into Heightened functionality; becoming re-orientated away from their habitual patterns of unconscious behavior. Also, post meditation activity helps brings about that vital resolute intellect, the unwavering mind rooting itself in single mindedness – Matthew 6:22 “if thine eye be single”. Thereby, stability of thought, stability of thinking, stability of hearing and seeing divinely resulting in right thinking and soul-based decision. Further making spontaneity of Good Samaritan expression real in our daily life.

People who suffer mostly in life, both mentally and physically, are souls in complete ignorance of their Higher Self nature. This Higher Self realm, while lying beyond phenomenal existence, is present within each of us. In other words, being eternally Now or transcendental, Higher Nature never encounters time, space and causation. Remaining always transcendental, therefore, nothing of an imperfect lower nature can ever be a part of Its Pure state. By means of the human soul, the purpose-journey of individual life is encountering and establishing this state of Perfection within, to be termed faith-consciousness.

The obvious question is: how do we attain a conscious connection with Perfection. The answer is simple, by transformation of our lower nature. Although innately present within each person, attaining direct contact with Perfection is a matter of first understanding what is causing blockage of this heavenly state into consciousness.

How we remove blockage in more detail is revealed in the second part of this article.

First, let us add context to more general cause of blockage. For generations, through the various religions with their non-cognizable dogmas, this natural potential within has been shrouded in mystery and confusion by controlling the mind-sets of people: that heaven is not attainable here on earth, but later. Soul-clogging statements as these are totally misleading and utterly incorrect. Consequent of religious indoctrination such as this, many then deny their inner Christ. By not cognizing Reality through a clear non-indoctrinated mind, people remain ignorant of their true faith potential. Many cannot relate intellectually to others’ non-religious terms, like Christ within, and other such terms, even though developing this state within is what all the scriptures are alluding to, albeit in codified format. This coded format, sadly, was seized upon by the early church to control the masses in one’s beliefs. The reality is, there is a simultaneous dimension to human existence already in place. But that this Higher state has to be uncovered, come upon from within at individual level and lived NOW as awakening soul, and not in some future time space. ‘Future-time’ does not exist in the eternal transcendental Now.

Of course, ignorance of divine nature within, at physical birth, is normal. But carrying such throughout our lives indefinitely is not the intention of the Creator. Ignorance of Higher nature is present only that we may grow out of it, consciously, by means of crucifying the lower conditioned ego.

Refusing or ignoring to grow out of spiritual ignorance amounts to repetitive suffering by choice. Which suffering amounts to sin.

The opposite of suffering is healing and spiritual well-being. Spiritual healing – of ignorance – is carried-out by divine authority, by the ever-perfecting life-force residing within each of us. Such healing, being of divine standard, requires purification of the body’s inner faculties. When free-flowing through the mind, body and spirit, this divine energy validates faith-consciousness tangibly, no conditioning, no dogma required. In fact, union with this universal life-force is what the Bible is actually alluding to. Sadly, literal interpretation of Scripture, I feel, is causal of so much apathy in this whole area of Christ within, and, Heaven now. Is it not said, ‘the kingdom of heaven is within’? Therefore, by means of going within, this ever-perfecting life-force stirs the human soul — the inner faculties — into awakening, resulting in transformation into Higher Self. Think caterpillar becoming the butterfly: the caterpillar has performed the required work of consuming itself for the purpose of forming butterfly status. Similarly, our own past, stemming over many lifetimes, is consumed by this inner life force in order that our Higher Eternal Self, or Christ-nature, be formed in consciousness.

Difference between Faith and Belief

So, the question arises, is faith required in order to receive healing to allow for transformation? The answer is, No, but, let me expand.

Because faith is consequent of spiritual awakening, thus faith is revealed unto consciousness initially as gentle peaceful silence, after which, by living it, faith grows to become full-grown. This revealing of faith unto consciousness is by way of culturing the nervous system into withstanding the pure Present Moment, or, Promised Land awareness, which awareness, when rooted, transmutes to unconditional love, compassion, fulfilment, or, Faith. Faith then is an extension of active deep meditational silence which, when lived through the nervous system, consciousness becomes established permanently AS every-moment faith, now and eternally, not at some later time.

When — through the mind’s constant exposure to inner silence — faith becomes maturely established, then all aspects of practical life reflect faith in action. Then is God, Life, our Higher Self experienced as One. No longer is God perceived as separate, as somewhere ‘out there, up there’. Consequent of our daily spiritual work, ‘out there’ God becomes localized as ‘in there’ Presence. When ‘in there’ is no longer confined to the limited human body, rather as universal consciousness – everywhere simultaneously. The question of separation – pertaining through original ignorance – is no longer valid as now there is Union. The tombstone of ignorance has been rolled back as inner and outer — Cain and Abel — become harmoniously integrated as God-consciousness.

Faith at this level of course has nothing whatever to do with formal religious faith, respectfully. The reality is, because faith is the eternal nature of every soul, we’re not dependent on being given it by any religious denomination through persuasion or otherwise. And, although the faith seed is present within each from physical birth, it has to be sprouted, then nourished by means of our daily spiritual development practice.

Again, faith is not the same as belief. What many call belief is really selective mental acceptance. In other words, selective belief by means of conditioning regards specific geographical locations or, in particular people. Such belief, while positive, of course, is man-made, conditional, usually associated with previously installed belief systems; in what others have instructed or indoctrinated us in, or, what we’ve been emotionally exposed to by friends, even family, or preached to while in attentive silence. This can also be termed programming. In this context, I’m sure many of us remember – prior to spiritual awakening — periods in our life when we were as adults flapping around like children in the river of life. In other words, before Self-realization we were each inner functioning between good and bad, tears and laughter, suffering and happiness through previously installed or inherited understanding. A capacity of unwitting deviation from divine nature, due to conditioned false belief systems dominating subconsciously in our lives.

Let us look more specifically at what may be blocking personal experiencing of unconditional faith.

Sadhana and Awakening unto Faith-Consciousness

Spiritual nature is experienced when the inner faculties responsible for such are activated to maximum functionality, enabling Higher Self assimilate through consciousness tangibly. These faculties are aspects of the soul or human personality and known as the 12 Cranial nerves in the brain, plus the seven energy or Chakra centres along the spinal column. These centres are means of spiritual growth and are specifically set up by the Creator with the sole purpose of the human soul migrating from lower earth-bound life into experiencing eternal Higher Soul status.

On the way to this eternal state, many fine books can be read and which can be of enormous benefit– including my own. But, alas, such readings can only ever act as sign posts – including the Bible and other Scriptures. Nothing we read actually provides direct experience of what we’re intuitively seeking, direct experiencing of our Higher Nature, now. Eventually we must put the books down and begin the required practical work of daily participation in deep mental silence, and, if necessary, dealing with other situations to be covered shortly.

Personal spiritual work is also known as our Sadhana, a Hindi word meaning ‘devotion’. By means of meditation, yoga and chant, and for some, contemplation, Sadhana is a disciplined approach to spiritual awakening. Such work, in the main, commits to a decision of complete transformation of old into new. A renewal of present and historic mind-sets leading to a totally different, yet natural, ‘new spiritual you’. Where mind, body, spirit function in harmony with the cosmos. The Sadhana of achieving ‘new you’ is our regular daily exposure to inner mental stillness and silence, and the resulting discipline. Seek council of which practice may best be suited to you. My own Sadhana is seated meditation for about half an hour twice daily. Seated meditation is also known as Raja Yoga, meaning Royal Union. But all Sadhana practices are set at achieving Union.

For some, in the beginning, depending how rooted the present mind-set lifestyle, change can prove challenging and even uncomfortable. Meaning, if there is a dragon lurking in our subconscious pantry, then this dragon will have to be faced consciously and defeated, totally – which it will be, for you will not be alone in the quest.

By way of divine encouragement, let us reflect the biblical story of David and Goliath. When David – symbolizing Mind of God — slew the giant, the dragon, with a white marble which he took from his breast pocket. This biblical giant of course represents the personal Goliath, our dragon, and the stone representing the new-found spiritual strength and determination aback of decision to victory over this dragon.

This suppressed Goliath exists because habitually it’s been nourished instead of our squaring up to the demon. And, it’s this automatically recurring sub-mental activity — of nourishing the dragon — which is responsible for preventing experiential faith-consciousness and unconditional love into our lives for living.

So, let’s call this dragon by its name-nature, ADDICTION.

Once we remain single-mindedly committed to our quest of overcoming addiction, then nothing whatsoever can defeat the Higher Power, the white stone within. When put into action, the white stone then represents our soul awakening unto itself, consciously. When unwaveringly directed, it will follow through utterly conquering whatsoever is blocking divine connection unto Wholeness: of freeing totally our soul from the prison clutches of addiction, similar to biblical Peter being freed from his / her ego-nature denial of Christ within to becoming established in faith or, Christ-consciousness. As part of a maintenance programme, during and post recovery, meditation twice daily is the vital key.

Achieving single-mindedness requires action from both the invisible higher dimension and from ourselves practically. Praying to God, while positive, then sitting back and doing nothing, will also achieve nothing. Belief alone is not sufficient, rather a combination of faith development (meditation) followed through with zoned awareness, with single-minded thought-action toward our goal. Addiction is by far the single culprit in blocking overall spiritual wellbeing. That is why we need to stay mentally focused, emotionally anchored, getting deep enough within consciousness to affect steadiness of mind and commitment to our desired freedom. Without steadiness of intellect, inner change remains aspirational only; never starting, never progressing, never achieving. Thus continuing our life experiencing through the same colour procrastination glasses. But, now, it’s time for action.

First Steps to Victory

Prayerful intentions without action remain illusory, ineffective. It’s only after taking that first courageous infant step toward our goal that prayer begins vibrating, materializing. Such is when divine assistance comes from all quarters of Life to our rescue. Without hesitation, take that all-important first step now, today. For, in Truth, in the spiritual realm, prayers become answered the moment we take that first heart-committed step; moving from a crystalized vision to a defined outcome. For it’s a universal law, that, action and reaction are equal to the same force. Therefore, that first step, aback of a victory-charged intention, can lead to leaps of amazing faith, beyond the limited lower ego effort. Thus each tiny enthusiasm-filled step, taken with a made-up mind — regarding intended outcome — is already successful in the Higher realm. It just now requires to be worked out in time.

We remember in the Bible when Jesus shouted in a loud voice: “Lazarus come forth” – Lazarus in this case is you, me: we’re to bring forth our basic spiritual nature that it may be Glorified. ‘Shouted’ means, with commitment, conviction.

Once moving forward step by step enthusiastically, and never looking back, then without fail the next divinely-nuanced step is revealed intuitively. Progressing in this manor represents the guiding flow of the inner life-force assisting with our every activity. Thus, action purifies.

A quick story may help crystalize the necessity of taking action. A woman was stranded on a sheer mountain cliff edge. She could not move in any direction from her present position. She immediately prayed to God to rescue her. A few minutes later, a passing helicopter pilot spotted her and, realizing her dilemma, dropped a rope ladder, with shouts: climb up! climb up! She waved and shouted back, no thanks, I’m waiting for God to save me!

The moral of this story: God works through us and through other people. Regards slaying the dragon, it translates, taking professional help when appropriate.

Summing up

When the conscious mind begins encountering profound inner peace by means deep silence, away from excessive thinking then soul awakening is noticeably taking place: biblically put: “be still and Know” Psalm 46–10. At the practical level, mental stillness creates a Gap in our repetitive thought cycle. Because it’s the Great Purifier, with practice, stillness expands sonically into deeper mind developing a bliss-wave through which ‘knowing’ is appreciated on the nervous system, reassuring that our spiritual growth season is right on harvest. This growth further Initiates a dynamic of ‘mental weeding’, a process which integrates (crucifies) the unconscious content — the lower ego — causal of all repetitive human suffering.

Surly it’s time to gather our spiritual harvest and live ‘be still and know’ consciously through the Awakening soul.

Beautiful abstract concepts are almost valueless unless we can nail them down practically in our own daily life.

The story of Jesus entering Jerusalem, riding on a donkey and her foal simultaneously, is truly one of those great biblical conundrums: how this double riding feat is achieved, while also considering: Mark 10-32 “Jesus and his disciples were now on the road going up to Jerusalem”.

As we set out examining this amazing parable esoterically, I’m hoping that it becomes obvious that the author of this scripture is not describing or reporting on a physical, historical or a geographical event.

And as we contemplate each section, let us pause repeatedly and check that our spiritual antenna – hearts, minds, inner eyes and ears — are open to practicality, realism and mature understanding. That, this story is not about multitudes of people celebrating a celeb coming to town. The locations referred to in this scripture are symbolism of the human soul in migratory status into higher levels of consciousness.

As the mind becomes established in Awakening consciousness, it becomes insight-fully obvious that terms such as Absolute, Truth, Eternal Now, are states realized through our own Higher Self. Gradually, with emergence of more refined, purer realms of consciousness, Absolute Pure Silence becomes manifest activity, latent dynamism in our every purified perception or, reflection of our own eternal Truth. The soul experience reminding of our rooted existence in God nature, but which status lies dormant within soul awaiting activation.

To this Glorious activation realization, evolution is in place for the sole purpose of individuating Truth: individual souls gaining direct God-contacting ability, thus entry into Kingdom consciousness. We’re each potentiates of the absolute, wired co-creators in-waiting. In realizing this miracle-performing state of consciousness, evolution works ‘speedier’ with refinement of the respiratory system and purification of the physical nervous system into withstanding bliss, achieved simultaneously through deep inner silence.

When the white flag of ego is unwavering on a daily basis, signalling intention to change, then evolution works unequivocally in transforming and enlightening that seeking soul on its wilderness journey into Universal consciousness.

For such Exalted outcome, the Bible addresses its reader in codified fashion for a reason. That we seek the innate Grand Potential tangibly beyond sermonized words, beyond man-made-rhetoric and doctrines, which literal phraseology only succeeds at anchors the mind in vivid story content, thus bogging it down in myriad impractical belief systems. Instead, and crucially, our individual job in life is to actively uncover, demystify Scripture’s hidden meaning and apply such practically through the living wilderness stages of human life, thereby realizing actual spiritual growth. When realized within, the Bible’s guiding influence is lived intuitively and not as memorized tomes of flowery words and religiosity sentiment — which I found had the effect of owning the mind rather than freeing it. Meditation grows inner freedom, it allows us see and hear from the soul, it provide the Revelation insights required for personal spiritual awakening. And while biblical words are wonderfully descriptive and entertainingly story-like in composition, they’re intention is seriously instructional. In this context, each must do his /her own ‘realization’ work. No one else can do this for us..

With this in mind, let us begin esoteric interpretation of Mark 11: 1-14 combining Matthew 21: 2 and John 20: 4.

“As they approached Jerusalem, near the towns of Bethany and Bethphage, they came to the Mount of Olives” –

“Jerusalem” is symbolic of soul awakening, of entering the fourth Chakra, coming upon heart-centered consciousness. ‘As they approached Jerusalem’ signifying, a period before enlightenment: the processes of soul-awakening commences with awareness of separation from natural soul happiness. This is usually when, for the first time, we begin taking positive action in remedying perpetual suffering in our daily life — of lower-self-ruling over higher self. Now, having progressed in purification – expansion of consciousness — and understanding, we’re preparing for a more deepening awakening of spiritual nature through 4th chakra. When the Inner-Christ finally ‘overthrows’ — by integration — the present Patriarchal dominance for Matriarchal standard. The term Jerusalem refers to Uru-Salem meaning, City of Peace.

Bethany — pre-enlightened or carnal state — signifies: “place within /house of dates, or state of misery, affliction” or, unresolved karmic patterns. The evolutionary cross-over bridge or, biblical wilderness, which the human soul undergoes, evolves through in becoming whole, becoming conscious. When capacity of conscious choice, amidst lower-self or carnal mind temptation, is present. The liberating process from the primitive animistic codification, from the cocoon of the collective subconscious addictive thought patterns.

Bethphage is symbolism for “place within /house of unripe figs”: human love perfecting into Divine or cosmic standard for expression as love-ripened, fully seasoned fig nature. Together, Bethany and Bethphage symbolize evolutionary stages of the human soul into alive Kingdom awareness and its subsequent vibratory expression. Bethphage, we could say, is that consciously awake in the wilderness part of consciousness.

To this divinization, a protocol is in place for enabling spiritual awakening, a medium through which ‘in-season’ fig expression is possible all year round. The protocol consists of initial heart-intended decision, followed by adherence to a purification process of the inner faculties such as the nervous system, five senses, and the harmonization of full brain activity, which faculties facilitate reverberation of the seven chakras’ outpouring into consciousness. This latter activity is preceded by the Kundalini awakening travelling upwards, which, on reaching the brain, activates the pituitary gland then the pineal gland chakras. It’s the mixing of these two glands’ essences that form the Third Eye.

This divinely set-up protocol involves nothing less than the conscious partaking of our personal wilderness, our conscious evolution unto our own indwelling Christ-birthing and beyond: which ‘beyond’ also incorporates activity at Spirit level. Such is the vital necessity of daily meditation thereby birthing Spirit nature unto consciousness.

We’re reminded, Jesus rode into Jerusalem from the east. Biblical ‘east’ is referring to the right-side brain, thereby activating the pituitary gland which then activates pineal gland, thus the triggering of our soul unto higher spiritual dimensions.

At this point can it stated, that, the brain itself, left or right side, does not produce happiness, rather, the pineal gland, holy of hollies. As the awakened kundalini moves upwards from its coiled position at the base chakra, up along the spinal column and into the crown pineal chakra, it then more fully awakens all chakras simultaneously.

This process further activates the deeper regions of right-side brain and its latent esoteric or enigmatical content whereby we come upon Self-revealing wisdom for further soul growth. Kundalini progresses from the pituitary gland into the pineal gland — for release of bliss, rapture. The pineal and pituitary glands both lie together, between the two brain hemispheres, and, on awakening, form the Mystical Marriage thus birthing the 3rd Eye. In practical context, entering from the east represents the activity of meditation and post meditation: living life primarily through pineal gland nature. Total brain functioning is the medium through which Higher Self assimilation becomes perceptible to the nervous system, becoming a permanently seated reality, or experience of ever-expanding consciousness. This is when full brain — as opposed to left brain only and its compulsive identification with carnal mind — comes into play, thus spiritual soul discernment.

Symbolically, ‘Mount of Olives’ is said to be ‘place of the skull’, Golgotha, where crucifixion of the dominant left brain or ego takes place in preparation for final ascent unto Mount of Olives or pineal gland Third Eye experiencing. This, then, is the successful raising of consciousness into the New Covenant of Third Eye, pineal gland, Heart-centered existence. Remember, it’s the initial Kundalini awakening at the base of the spine, leading upwards to crucifixion of dominant left brain, that eventually awakens right brain. This then leading to overall mental synchronicity of maximum brain coherence, including the pineal activity of bliss experiencing.

“Jesus sent two of his disciples ahead with these instructions” —

“Jesus” symbolizing our own divinely-encoded conscious awareness on its inward and upward journey of gaining and living Inner-Christ or, ‘Kingdom of heaven’ consciousness. This symbolically is ‘The Way’. The two apostles signify the conscious and subconscious aspect of mind: the natural separation of spiritual nature existing within the psyche, needing unifying. They, the apostles, represent the practicality attaching to individual participation of soul awakening signified by ‘Jesus sent’, meaning, our own intentional desire to inner spiritual knowledge. The two ‘sent ahead’ apostles are not named, but understanding would suggest James and John. This dynamic reflects the perfect inner mechanisms. John representing nearness of intention to Christ, right brain, and, James, representing the initial mental aspect required, both forming an intentional surge to inner unity, to overall spiritual soul harmonization and Ascension.

“Go to the village there ahead of you” —

Other scriptures say: go to village opposite you. This is the scripture, I feel, makes the inner process more comprehensible. ‘Opposite’ is referring to focusing awareness in the opposite direction, inward rather than outward. The village signifies the faculty of intellect, Peter or ego-personality and its unceasing activity with man-made reality and self-identifying. This sporadic left brain living, becomes acutely obvious the moment we close our eyes in preparation for meditation or quite prayer. The conscious mind is immediately confronted by avalanches or ‘multitudes’ of thoughts: menus of thinking options offering all sorts of lower-nature pleasure via the non-purified senses – the ‘den of thieves’ which Jesus, Jerusalem, eventually clears out of the Temple.

“As soon as you get there, you will find a colt tied up that has never been ridden” —

‘there’ meaning, encountering the inner turmoil of scattered mental activity. ‘Tied up’, meaning, due to our mind caught-up in this mental turmoil, spiritual matters become overshadowed, overlooked, denied spiritual oxygen. Thus, our soul is out of view, out of contact with the Temple, meaning, our Christ sunshine is blocked. ‘Unridden colt’ symbolizing the non-disciplined, wandering intellect awaiting a soul-conscious ‘rider’ giving direction for definite spiritual purposes and their manifest expression into consciousness and material life

Let us digress to include a broader version of this same issue scripture, Matthew 21:2

“Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me” —

Now we have two donkeys. So, this whole donkey-affair consists of one nature birthing into another, or, ego-personality surrendering to meditation in order to come upon Higher Self. It means, a foal /colt ‘birthing’ by means of inner peace initiated by the mature donkey. Therefore, untying, leading to eventual foal birth, takes place within consciousness. “Donkey” is symbolic of peace, the innocence nature required for soul awakening; out of the stubborn, rigidly-set egoic aspect of left brain dominance which is in dire need of taming and breaking-in, spiritually. ‘Donkey’ also has positive aspects such as resilience – beast of burden – and ability of making progress by acute intuition. The two apostles symbolize aspects of consciousness in need release and expansion. The outer donkey is means to inner foal.

With Bethany and Bethphage becoming integrated at Mount of Olives, ego eventually becomes the spiritual off-spring or colt. Lower-self attains Higher realization through you, the ‘Jesus’ awareness. Thus, umbilical cord speaking, ‘foal /colt’ and ‘donkey’ are one and the same. Metaphorically, this is how Jesus rode both animals simultaneously into Jerusalem. Taken together, ‘foal’ and ‘donkey’ symbolize the simultaneous divinity and humanity of each person – innate Oneness amid the seeming chaos.

Resuming Mark Scripture

“untie it and bring it here” —

‘Untie’ our will, intellect and emotions from bondage, the hypnosis of spiritual ignorance functioning. Similar to the parable of five loaves and two fishes, by entering into meditation, the inner spiritual faculties are made free, untied from the drag-influence of the non-purified senses and their compulsion with outer sensual gratification. Thus ‘bring it /them here’ is referring to bringing our scattered intellect, of left brain activity and its crave-desiring nature ‘here’, to stillness and mental silence.

“and If someone asks you what you are doing, tell him that the Master needs it /them and will send it /them back at once” —

‘Master needs it’ — ‘Master’ in this case, practically, is the Pituitary gland, which is the Master gland. This gland or brain chakra is that faculty which ‘needs it’, meaning, needs the rising Kundalini so that it can merge into the pineal gland thus birthing Third Eye or soul-perceiving ability. This union or consummation is known as the Mystical Marriage – pituitary ‘groom’ merging with pineal ‘bride’, Masculine and Feminine aware in each other, as One. The human soul thus in metamorphosis, transmuting consciously unto Spirit nature. Jacob’s nature, we remember, was changed at the pineal, meaning the unredeemed nature of the soul becomes spiritually awakened, realized Mystical Marriage bliss. Now we have achieved direct contact with Spirit.

For direct experience of bliss-consciousness, the ‘Master Pituitary Gland’ needs pure peace and inner calm to facilitate Kundalini rising into it. The Master has no need of a physical donkey per-ce, simply the peace and innocence associated with donkey. Thus, ‘will send it back at once’ meaning, peace /calm and joy is reciprocal, instantaneously returned within consciousness.

Can I digress further to include: John 20: 4 “the two of them were running, but the other disciple ran faster than Peter and reached the tomb first” —

‘Running’ here symbolizes, entering into meditation, entering into the tomb of emptiness, into the silence of the mind /body, the biblical protocol known as the crucifixion, of experiencing purely or, minus the ego baggage. John, here is symbolic of right brain nature or higher love ‘reaching tomb first’, signifying the Immanence of awakening Divinity. That, through initial right brain ‘John’ nature, integration of intellect, lower ego or ‘Peter’, takes place. This, I suggest, is the symbolism in Mark 16-15: “and entering the tomb they saw a young man (the foal) sitting on the right(brain)”.

“So they went and found a colt out in the street, tied to the door of a house” —

‘Went’, signifying the mental process of going into meditation. This quieting of the mind unto peace. Put differently, rather than remaining on the surface sensory level of life, meditation activates perception in Heightened awareness, which ability lies beyond left brain lower ego. Due to being tied to the door — to conditioned emotional behaviour and market place activity — the chaotic unstable intellect, is unable to pass through the door, through the eye of the needle into the soothing, healing and neutralizing calm of Ocean-bed silence, route of spiritual progress becoming personal reality.

“As they were untying it, some of the bystanders asked them, what are you doing untying that colt? They answered just as Jesus had told them and the men let them go” –

‘men’ meaning mental manifestations. The moment the conscious mind enters into silence, fixed thoughts patterns or ‘men’ inevitably enter, which is normal. As practice advances, matures, resistance to mental silence declines, thus is how ‘men’tal activity become as ‘bystanders’, transient. Rather than impediments to meditation progress, coming and going thoughts are ‘watched’ without dealing with them. Such mental activity is subconscious content surfacing for conscious integration, as opposed to suppressing further for future activation. Prevention of upcoming thoughts into awareness keeps the mind on the surface level – unable to sink into deeper soul silence.

“They brought the colt to Jesus” –

‘they’, the two ‘sent ahead apostles’ in neutralizing mental activity were successful in taking the awareness into ‘colt’ innocence which becomes exposed to its own already Mature Christ or Mount nature within awaiting consummation.

“They threw their cloaks over the animal” —

‘Threw their cloaks’ meaning, surrendering attachment of our lower finite nature unto the peace of the inner foal. In expressing trust in the transformation process, righteous acts begin forming the basis of emerging divine consciousness.

A parallel understanding of the donkey is, before spiritual awakening, a person’s seemingly ‘normal’ behaviour is deemed to be at ‘animal’ level of consciousness. At ‘animal’ level, humankind is said to operate from the three lower levels of waking, dreaming and deep sleep consciousness – spiritual ignorance. Thus, through inner awakening, the soul commences its upward journey from these lower levels of evolution into higher realms, and beyond.

“Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches in the fields and spread them on the road” –

‘spreading cloaks on the road’ meaning, having surrendered unto the healing process, our life becomes spiritually orientated. Spreading of cloaks here is humbling of ego, humility unto inner God in prayer demonstrating conviction of Heart. ‘Cut branches in the fields’: The mind (in the field) cuts branches, signifying, in meditation, the deeper mind withdraws association with natural man mind-sets, with lower-self programming. Subconsciously rooted turmoil, anger and fear, causal of inner-outer misery, are cutting away, diminishing as compulsory mental action. ‘Cut branches’ signifying, the mind celebrates, experiences, release from bondage from generational inherited emotional allegiances.

We’re reminded of the woman (soul) who jumped ahead of the market place crowd (thoughts) and in doing so, touched the Cloak of Jesus – His Divinity – which Divinity is present within you. Jesus said: “the power has gone from me”. We touch our own Divinity or Cloak through ‘branch-cutting’ in meditation.

“The people who were in front, and those who followed behind began to shout “Praise God! –

‘people’ symbolizing the multitudes of present and generational incurred thought patterns. All are now in the same boat of unconditional forgiveness through integration. All are now on the same glorious love-tide rising upwardly unto Unity. A release of sanctifying light is taking place in the spiritual Heart, facilitating expurgation of subconsciousness. Our Heart in joyous praising mode celebrating the unity of Life within.

“God bless him who comes in the name of the Lord” –

As the mind transcends, or enters into a higher state of consciousness, the human soul is drawn upwards, comes under the influence of Name or Nature of the Higher Power — Divinity vibrating as our own Being.

“God bless the coming kingdom of King David, our father! Praise God!” —

Having gained transcendental or experiential expanding consciousness, the soul becomes ‘conscience’ aware of moral and immoral — synchronized with all the laws of nature, and beyond. By ‘beyond’ is meant: given that we’re made in God’s image /likeness, then the question arises, what level of purity has our soul gained qualifying us as ‘hands-on’ co-creators and co-maintainers of the cosmos. The question is answered in the following line.

“Jesus entered Jerusalem, went into the Temple, and looked around at everything” —

As ordinary human consciousness develops, divine awareness comes gradually and then sharply into focus. This level of awareness permeates the trichotomy of mind /body /soul, bringing healing to every aspect – Divinity blossoms. The inner mechanisms of brain, 5 senses, 12 Cranial nerves, spine and chakras — all of which have been set up for the sole purpose of our soul evolving into ‘beyond’ through Now — are now experiencing Heightened standard. Thus, ‘Jesus went into the Temple and looked around at everything’, signifying instantaneous Light or Higher consciousness expansion into every atom /cell of our body, into every corner and crevice of human awareness for growth in Higher Potential development.

“But since it was already late in the day, he went out to Bethany with the twelve disciples” –

‘late in the day’, since the mind was advanced in combined meditation and ‘in the wilderness’ stages, healing spreads to the inner suffering Bethany – the asleep nature of the 12 apostles. ‘Jesus went with the apostles to Bethany’, in other words, after their initial separation through spiritual ignorance, the 12 apostles are coming together, unifying. In conjunction with our meditative practice, the conscious phase of ‘wilderness’ living has served its purpose of becoming soul fruit bearing. This unifying allows for pure contact with the Mount of Olives, the pineal gland, source of love, peace and happiness. As ego begins losing its generational dominance, a sense of sheer joy and happiness flows. On gaining lower emotional and mental freedom, a surge of bliss, of pineal-nectar permeates our conscious-entirety – as above so below.

The benefit of this healing miracle is further acknowledged in this next and final scripture: Mark 11: 1–14

“The next day, as they were coming back from Bethany, Jesus was hungry. He saw in the distance a fig-tree covered with leaves, so he went over to see if he could find any figs on it. But when he came to it, he found only leaves, because it was not the right time for figs. Jesus said to the fig-tree, ‘no one shall ever eat figs from you again! And his disciples heard him.”

“and his disciples heard him” meaning, the inner mechanisms began awakening spiritually. Often referred to as ‘Jesus curses the fig-tree’. ‘Curses’ is symbolism for command over our thought processes: a positive soul decision based on inner strength or soul conviction. ‘The next day’ signifying a period of spiritual growth. ‘Saw in the distance’ meaning, pure inner perception. Thus, having gained spiritual awakening from the soul-asleep experience – Bethany – the mind now has ability of conscious command over thought and emotion. If something is non-soul serving, we have the power of making conscious choice, take command action. Thus, ‘Jesus was hungry’, meaning, inner You is in need of daily meditation, which practice rids of subconscious, soul-destroying addictive thought patterns.

Due to left /right brain harmonization, we’ve evolved into a higher state of consciousness. Our inner networking’s are spiritually synchronized, functioning morally through ethically developed conscience. On entering and awakening right-side brain, and subsequent pineal gland’s ‘milk and honey’ outpouring, the bigger and vital picture of inner Jerusalem’s awakening is revealed. Cain befriends Abel, soul befriends wilderness, mind befriends Heart, as one unified Promised Land consciousness.

Conclusion summary, the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, on the foal of a donkey, to the encores of multiple praising people, in essence describes the practical process of the human soul transitioning from lower nature into higher joyous nature. By conscious application of learned lessons from our wilderness traversing, the River Jordan has been successfully crossed. Alleluia!

In the Bible, Pontius Pilate (the Roman governor) found no wrongdoing with Jesus. Jesus was then sent to Herod who also found nothing wrong with what he did or preached. Finally, Pilate asked the people, “What shall he do with Jesus,” and they replied, “Crucify him! Crucify him!” The “him” being referred to isthe son of man, or the non-integrated ego, further implying the fruits of the binding influence of spiritual ignorance.

Thus, the statement “Crucify him” is not about crucifying a physical person, but rather about crucifying the duality nature inherent in the human psyche (generationally). It represents the causal separation from God at the individual level. In addition, “Crucify him!” means integrating duality, or the lower nature with the higher. Prior to integration, this life dynamic governs individual life. Hence the termRoman governor represents the dialogue patterns of sub-conscious conditioning. “Crucify him!” is also referring to crucify theson of man, the emotional attachment to this residual conditioning, and to the fruits of the material world, and to uninterrupted mental activity. Son of man is symbolic for evolution out of the material world of delusion, and into soul re-Membering, or divine consciousness! Thus, when our Herod nature, the ruler of this lower ego, is crucified, we come upon Son of God status, or the Light of the purified soul.

Consider: it was the Roman soldiers that nailed Jesus to the cross. Roman soldiers symbolize being compelled to sin prior to integration, which is simply the experiential level of separation. Due to its stifling of free will, this sub-conscious law denies the direct experience of the divine nature. In denying such, ascension out of duality is thwarted, thus prolonging suffering. The nailing of hands and feet symbolize the inability of the divine expression of the mind-body, or the inability of the mind to perceive true spirituality. The Crown of Thorns symbolize victory over both of these limitations, and the forehead Blood represents the flow of Christ-consciousness.

What is ‘the Cross’ and why take it up and follow Me?

Gal 3:19 states:”What then was the purpose of the law? It was added in order to show what wrongdoing is”.

The cross itself (as separate from the crucifixion) symbolizes the horizontal and vertical planes of existence. The horizontal plane represents duality or biblical wrongdoing, while the vertical plane represents divine will and harmony. It’s this life in duality that we need to focus attention on. We need to constantly reflect. This is the spiritual homework assignment we all must be engaged in. When we do so, we embark upon the vertical plane, our highest spiritual nature.

The opposite of love is duality which is rooted in fear and which represents the perishable as opposed to imperishable love or absolute existence. But this duality is there by divine design. It exist to teach us vital lessons so that we may experience soul growth. We spiritually evolve so that we may consciously recognize individual wrongdoing, and thereby take up our cross and align our soul to the vertical path of life. Duality is the medium through which the human soul must awaken. This is when the “follow Me” part of biblical instruction is achieved.

In practical terms, it’s the psychological networking of the enslaved lower human nature that is taken up – rendered harmless to spiritual growth. In other words, sub-conscious activity is neutralized through conscious expansion. Prior to soul-freeing, the conscious mind was rendered powerless in regards to the intensity of negative thought patterns.

To make sub-conscious integration more conceptually grasping, think about a volcano erupting into the sky; in human terms, it’s the upheaval of submerged emotional thought patterns into conscious awareness. When deep-rooted mind-sets get thrown upwards for conscious reflection, they eventually become integrated. This is how the mind returns to fullness stature; the soul freed into knowing its true unbounded nature. When horizontal and vertical become ONE, as divine consciousness, then you have the lamb lying down with the wolf.

Gal 3:23 states:

“Before the time for faith come, the law (binding influence of lower nature)kept us all locked up as prisoners until the coming faith shall be revealed”. This means that prior to transcendental awareness, the law is unyielding.

Also, Col 2:14-15: “he cancelled the unfavourable record of our debts with its binding rules, and did away with it completely by nailing it to the Cross (by knowing duality thus do we transcend it). And from that cross (duality) freed himself from the power of the spiritual rulers and authorities” (freed from the binding laws, from the hostage-taking nature of the subconscious authority, perpetrator of individual and global sin). This scripture is telling us: bring the inner Vertical light to rid the horizontal darkness or soul slumbering.

We may remember also, when the biblical tombstone was rolled back, the apostles reported the tomb (the mind / body) empty, empty of sub-conscious nature, meaning the mind-body dynamic was purified into Ascension consciousness. Jesus, we read, then appeared to his disciples (our own purified consciousness).

The disciples are symbolic of inner-body mechanisms known as the 12 cranial nerves. These cranial nerves are responsible for every human activity, to include spiritual development. Thus the disciples are workers serving the body-soul dynamic into coming upon the inner Christ, thereby enabling God-consciousness realization. With the cranial nerves becoming purified, consciousness is empowered in perceiving spiritually, experience transcendentally. Thus, awakening these Manna-distributing channels are vital for soul nourishment and overall development of physical and spiritual well-being.

And while the physical body is a creation of the universal life-force, the soul’s Core Flame is not. An aspect of eternal God, the soul’s Essence enters the body. The soul, therefore, being the conduit of God-nature experiencing, and having entered the body, awaits awakening into spiritual nature by means of conscious contact with the universal life-force or kundalini located at the base of the spine. It is this conscious contact – in the coccyx area of the spinal column – which ignites the kundalini, leading to awakening of the soul’s higher spiritual dimensions in the brain.

Duality – means of Unity.

Duality therefore constitutes the law of opposites: good, bad, love, hate, right, wrong, and so on. Think, Noah’s Ark (individual human mind) and the two of everything taken into it – symbolism of duality content. The Ark, we remember, came to rest on a Mount, meaning, the mind in meditation transcends duality and settles into Higher Self, into Bliss-consciousness. By entering the body/mind meditationally, the mind eventually transcends its limitation and false identity, becomes drawn to Truth, soul-consciousness and unbounded awareness.

Gal 3-25 puts it: “Now that the time for faith (transcendental consciousness) is here(direct experience), the Law is no longer in charge of us”. Again, by entering meditationally into the body / duality, the mind gets to experience transcendentally, gets to know that which neutralizes the law, knowing which, similar to Noah’s Ark, the mind comes upon Mount or Unity consciousness, highest level of human evolution.

Jesus puts it John 2:19:”I will knock this temple down(duality nature) and rebuild it in three days”- 3 symbolizing Unity, and days, period of transforming consciousness. In other words, Christ within is utterly victories in neutralizing the structure and nature of sub-conscious experiencing – patterns which keep our life prisoner to the false prophet, to the erring, duality-composed mind.

Similar to faith-consciousness, attaining Unity is not an exercise of memory referencing and intellectualizing of scriptures only. No, Unity, like our beautiful sun is always in place, and, presents as Sunshine when a gap in the clouds appear. Similarly, when a gap in our thought cycle appears, Unity becomes experiential. By regularly expanding the thought-gap, expanding stillness and silence tolerance in the mind, the Sun or Unity awareness becomes as ever-present bliss-consciousness.

As duality nature and sub-conscious content conspire at forming human consciousness – that which maintains lower human nature – thus, unwittingly, through spiritual ignorance, do we create the very conditions for the purpose of transmuting such consciously. Here, Matthew 16:18 reassures us: “The gates of hell (lower nature) shall not prevail against it” (Christ-consciousness) and, again, Mathew 28:20 “lo, I am with you always even unto the ends of the world” (end of duality, lower nature and subconsciousness).

Jesus carrying the cross through public streets, with soldiers whipping and driving him on, symbolizes the choice-less dynamic, prior to spiritual awakening, of sub-conscious content in our daily life. Jesus fell 3-times – 3 symbolizing Divinity – meaning, we have each fallen from Divinity by means of this inherited duality / lower nature. But, then, this is why we came to planet earth: to consciously transcend such, thereby knowing Higher states of consciousness.

Reality of Existence

The reality of our existence is two-fold: we’re both relative and absolute simultaneously. But in the early stages of spiritual development, individual consciousness is aware only in the relative-duality, and non-aware in Absolute-Unity status. This is because, at nervous system level, a medium of experiencing higher consciousness has not been set-up – the biblical veil has not been rented.

In other words, prior to Self-realization the human nervous system functions in mono or duality awareness only; the nervous system is reflecting only what is set-up, reflecting only what has been cultured into it. Thus, for the nervous system to have any experience, there must be a corresponding experience in place, a reflective dynamic capable of knowing simultaneous consciousnesses. In this context, to experience Unity or transcendental nature, the nervous system needs to be cultured into withstanding such. We cannot arrive at higher states of consciousness by an act of will or imposed belief systems. In achieving higher states of consciousness, a practical means of inner culturing is required; a process that involves natural harmonization of left-side and right-side brain. This full brain encountering enables the knowing and retention of both eternal unity and relative duality consciousness simultaneously.

Alternating between transcendental silence in meditation and worldly activity after meditation, over time transforms the nervous system / brain whereby simultaneous-knowing capacity of absolute and relative / duality is maintained – human life remaining permanently under Higher Self guidance while still in the relative world. In arriving at simultaneous consciousness capacity, thus eternal status is validated. When both aspects of our existence co-exist as a Whole, making the kingdom of heaven within a conscious reality: experiential beyond dogma, doctrine and belief systems.

Total Potentiality

Each soul in essence is a hieroglyph of Eternal Spirit, of the Kingdom of Heaven. The knowing of such Essence is through the physical body, in particular, the intellect. In bringing the intellect to convergence, to point awareness between the eyebrows in meditation, the intellect, emotions, senses and will, each become Essence aligned, cosmically firing, made Resolute. Such is when set-up in the brain / nervous system allows for Total Potentiality or Infinite Intelligence become conscious reality, becomes established brain-nervous system consciousness – Awareness rooted permanently in Divine Essence, in Vertical Will.

Such is what makes understanding the following scripture so absolutely vital: John 12:32 “and I,(human intellect, emotion, senses and will) if I be lifted up from this earth (ascension out of duality, lower world, lifted from ordinary human consciousness) shall draw all men (manifestations of balanced emotions and soul-centered decision making) unto me” (unto Divine Consciousness).

As we can see, prior to spiritual awakening, we’re each as spiritually dead, in need of ‘lift up’ – unaware of our inherent absolute status. Due to this spiritual death, individual inner Christ or Higher Self remains temporarily out of Commission, buried by accumulations of non-neutralized lower-self energy patterns. Thus the buried Christ referred to in scripture is not referring to a historical person, but to our own Christ within awaiting Resurrection into our consciousness.

So, finally, let us establish exactly what “take up thy cross” IS NOT. It’s not two beams of wood on our shoulder or on anyone else’s shoulder. Nor is it about enduring some life-situation heroically in order to please God. Not at all. And although maybe conditioned by literal Bible interpretation into thinking this way, this scripture is not remotely relating to either of these two examples.

In conclusion,

“And I myself will send upon you what my father has promised(our own indwelling Christ). But you must wait in the City(meditate, transformation of human consciousness)until the power from above (Divine Light)comes down upon you(our soul awakening)”Luke 24-49

Awakening spiritually is intuitive, a prompt of soul to higher states of consciousness, out of the limited ego-self. This angelic prompt usually takes the form of seeking inner peace by natural means. Commencing upon a personal inner awakening journey, of heeding the propelling whispers to inner calm, stillness and silence, is a most wonderfully joyous and life-transforming occasion. It marks the beginning of our eternal voyage into the Pure Heart of God-Nature: A Glorious calling to Blessed-Consciousness.

The answer to the forbidden fruits lies within esoteric interpretation of Genesis 2:16-17 “the tree of the knowledge of the fruits of good and evil” and, “the tree of life”. The symbolism behind the word “tree” is that every tree has a root system which receives nourishment, which then serves the overall tree. Thus esoterically “the tree of the knowledge of the fruits of good and evil” and “the tree of life” is that both trees’ roots can potentially serve the consciousness, one either of soul-serving nature and the other non-soul serving. In other words, the fruits of one will bind, cling to our consciousness, while the other, the tree of life, will free or purify the consciousness rendering our actions non-binding. Therefore, it’s the nature-quality of the particular root – the mind / nervous system – which determines the spiritual quality of the fruit encountered and experienced within the mind / physiology. Thus the tree-root saturated in meditative silence-stillness is automatically infused of divine nature, Bliss or pure peace. Conversely, the root or mind not meditatively engaged – in some soul-connecting inner dynamic — is solely surviving on the fruits which cling, bind, therefore not in harmony with divine consciousness.

What specifically are the forbidden fruits?

The forbidden fruits are every sensory / mental action performed or experienced through spiritual ignorance — while still emotionally attached to the objective phenomenal world as our true reality. By this illusory reality — the opposite of our true reality — we come under the dominance of the laws of nature also known as the law of cause and effect “as ye sow, so shall ye reap”. Here the conscious mind and five senses remain identified solely with automatically recurring sub-conscious programming. The fruits are forbidden because they bind the mind and body to activity, to mind-sets not in harmony with divine law, thereby making the mind a virtual prisoner to automatic or unconscious behaviour. And is why Jesus said “bring (in meditation) the five loaves (five senses) and two fish (two spiritual glands in the brain) to him (purification silence)”.

Through attachment and identification with this inherited sub-conscious conditioning, the mind fails to appreciate and reflect its own divine nature – bliss-consciousness. Such is how, by perpetual overshadowing of the inner “tree of life”, spiritual ignorance continues unabated leaving sub-conscious activity to repeat automatically. Due to this born-into non-spiritually awakened level of consciousness, the forbidden fruits are carried on through what’s called the lower-self or lower-ego.

From the effects perspective, the forbidden fruits are subliminal thought waves produced from a level of consciousness that is not spiritually developed, not cosmically or universally attuned. Whereas thought-experiencing through the tree of life reflects the awakened soul, a soul rooted and vibrating in cosmic consciousness.

Maturing through life experiences, it becomes obvious that right action cannot be determined through this erring, lower-ego, conditioned mind. That there must be another element of our existence not yet being inner experienced.

So, the question arises: how is the difference between right and wrong activity discerned, what is the criteria of right action? (action in accordance with divine nature).

From the soul’s perspective, right action is determined transcendentally. Through daily meditation, purification of lower-ego takes place which enables the mind automatically be in harmony with right action, with the cosmic laws of natural evolution, the will of God, and not shackled to the binding influence of the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, to perpetual sin-nature. Through Higher Self connectivity, compassion and unconditional love — in how we’re hearing and seeing others’ spiritual ignorance – are experienced more deeply in our daily encounters,

Only One Tree

In reality there is only one tree, for the root of the tree of the fruits of good and evil becomes transformed into the tree of life. Thus the tree of life was always present as Potential consciousness, with its realization the goal-purpose of individual life. Transforming the root of the “good and evil” leads to direct knowing of the tree of eternal life.

Because the forbidden fruits need integration into consciousness, made neutral, its first necessary to go through the experience, thereby make a conscious choice to divinity – tree of life — which nature resides within our consciousness.

It is only after experiencing a period of sin-fruit nature, that we get to make an actual decision. A conscious choice regards the inherited conditioning thereby grow out of this spiritual ignorance into higher spiritual awareness. By growth is meant purification of the inner systems through which the lower-self uses for its experiences, thereby maintain its illusory status as real. The lower-self in practical terms is an accumulation of mental impurities and lived out through the impure nervous system, five senses, conditioned ego and the 12 cranial nerves in the brain. All of which, while spiritually asleep, are responsible for maintaining the forbidden fruits in the mind and the physiology. This brings about decaying or corrosion of spiritual well-being thus making experience of the tree of life almost impossible. Hence the need of meditation – or some inner awakening program — thereby do these inner mechanisms become spiritually realigned.

At practical level, the forbidden fruits are addictive thought patterns which bind the mind / body structures to inappropriate or wrong life-style choices. And because of their impure status are refused entry into the kingdom of heaven consciousness within. But that, after purification or consciousness transformation, mind-awareness becomes rooted in the tree of life – eternal pure nature.

Therefore, the tree of life and the tree of good and evil can be understood as lower-self and Higher Self, similar to biblical Cain and Abel. In other words, we entered this world as lower-self and, due to non-awakened soul nature or impure consciousness, were incapable of “eating” — experiencing — from the tree of life, and, in the process, lower-self, Cain, smothered our own Higher Self, Abel.

Thus, it’s the spiritual vibration of the root, the mind, which determines the quality of our life – harmony or disharmony, suffering or bliss, ignorance of God or spiritual awareness. Through spiritual practices such as meditation, Yoga and other established mind-centring techniques, the tree of the forbidden fruits become integrated, transformed into the tree of eternal life.

Through such integration of sub-conscious content, these same forbidden fruits present no further problem in daily life, for they are no longer forbidden. Thus, “Heaven and earth (all of creation) are full of thy glory”. In other words, we’re free to enjoy all of creation through our awakened soul nature, free from the binding influence of all forbidden fruit’s activity.

We’re all fairly familiar with Hebrews 4-4 “God Rested On the Seventh Day from all His Work”, and a few lines down: Hebrews 4–10 “For whoever receives that rest which God promised will rest from his own work, just as God rested from his. And in Hebrews 3–11 “God became angry”. Let us explore these three seemingly straight forward scriptures for their hidden message.

Seventh Day Consciousness

In Hebrews 4-4 God rested is meaning rested within the seventh state of consciousness, and not on a particular day of the week. In scriptural terms, a Day is neither Monday, Tuesday or Sunday. A day represents a level of spiritual consciousness.

There are seven states or layers of consciousness: waking, dreaming, deep sleep, transcendental, cosmic, God and unity consciousness. Seventh Day (consciousness) is experienced within the seventh seal mentioned in Rev 8-1. This Seal or Day is located in the brain and it is called the pineal gland. During meditation human consciousness transforms into Seventh Day Divine consciousness.

Scriptural “Day” therefore is a level of consciousness, and rested on 7th Day is resting within the seventh chakra at the top of the spine in the brain. Seven symbolizes unity. Therefore, Seventh or Unity Consciousness is to be found at the Seventh chakra or Seventh seal, when such chakra is opened by the flow of kundalini from the base of the spine in meditation or through other well established Yoga practices.

As we said, there are seven chakras, each representing a level of consciousness. The highest human level is Seventh Day consciousness or transcendental Unity Consciousness.

Overall, Hebrews 4-4 is informing where eternal God-nature is located, rested, and how we may come upon it — which is through the mind. In other words, individual awareness first proceeds inwards into the mind, into the body, in order to transcend this material plane and arrive at Seventh Day awareness.

In practical terms, the mind becomes the vehicle through which we transcend and which, on return, is infused of divine nature. The tiny conscious mind thus has expanded into becoming the fully conscious mind thereby freeing the sub-conscious element of generational conditioning. It’s these previous lives which are responsible for our constantly coming back to this earth plane. Thus, our work in this incarnation is to gain transcendental consciousness first, thereby do we defeat death, or sin, and gain eternal unbounded status. The Bible puts it:”if there be one just man (one awakened life journey) I will save the city (transform the mind)”. In other words, all we need to achieve is one conscious, Higher-Self integrated lifetime. Similarly, “First seek ye the Kingdom and all else will be added unto consciousness… “

Rest, Angry, Solemn Promise, Going Beyond Creation

Referred to in Hebrews 3–11 as “Solemn Promise” this term is referring to the laws of nature responsible for the entire manifest creation. As divine Consciousness is transcendental, such Exalted state therefore lies beyond manifest creation thus, “Rest” in Hebrews 4-10 refers to transformational Christ consciousness. At Rest-Consciousness mind-body transcend, go beyond the entire creation of individuality (rested from his work Hebrews 4–4). Because the mind transcends creation in meditation, it ceases to be an individual conscious mind. Individuality is suspended during “Rest” or transcendence — even the aging process — to facilitate expansion, purification, transformation. When the mind comes back after meditation, individuality returns endowed of eternal consciousness. Thus “Promised Rest” in Hebrews 4-10 is referring to “undergoing” transformation from the effects of the “Solemn Promise”, the established cosmic laws, the unchangeable governance of nature: “as we sow, so shall we reap” – the law of cause and effect which rules over each of us without favoritism.

Therefore, “rested from his work” is going beyond creation, beyond the grip of karma, beyond the laws of nature responsible for creation, maintenance and dissolution of everything in creation – going to where eternal nature becomes inner perceptible. In going beyond creation, in culturing the mind transcendentally, such is how re-birthing on this plane of suffering consciousness is conquered. Thus, it’s not the events of our life which are deemed suffering, rather the activities carried out while in spiritual ignorance.

In Hebrews 4-3 God said: “I was angry and made a solemn promise: they (our non-purified thoughts actions and emotions) will never enter the land (transcendental consciousness) where I would have given them rest (eternal transformation)”. Now, God, as we all know, does not get angry. “Angry” here is symbolism for a level of inner disunity, disharmony resulting from previous misuse of the cosmic laws “as ye sow, so shall ye reap”. “Angry”, meaning, a mind not attuned cosmically, therefore, could not obey His commands, obey the impulses of divine intelligence in our previous lives, symbolized by the word ancestors. We were stubborn, meaning incapable of soul-hearing or pure silence-knowing, therefore incapable of making spiritual progress. Due to this perpetual psychic sleep state, we were incapable of obeying divine instruction which was to be in harmony with the established cosmic laws, appointed by God. Where the insight-impulses of our own soul would echo audibly and distinguishable above the droning reverberations of societal rituals, hardened tribalism and corporate deceit conditioning.

‘Promised Rest’ is similar to Moses and the Promised Land – promised, meaning, innately present, was always there and, Land, meaning, consciousness or spiritual awareness. Thus, divine consciousness already lies within each of us awaiting direct realization. In refusing to establish conscious contact with Divine Potential, then, through such spiritual ignorance, our life is governed by its opposite, sin, which means continued separation from God which is termed suffering.

Remember, man-made rituals can never free us from sin, which is carried out transcendentally. At best ritual may temporarily ease our social conscience, where we stop stoning ourselves. Thus, “Rested” means transformation from the mountain of buried sin awaiting redemption, forgiveness, purification.

Once initiated, transformation is automatic, when no repeating sin-nature can reach to control the mind again. For, at this stage of Rest consciousness, all our actions and intentions will be spiritually harmonized. All future activity becomes based on conscious choice through pure intellect, and not unconsciously recurring as was the situation previously.

Thus we can say that God is resting – to be found — within the 7th chakra state of consciousness awaiting kundalini’s upward flow from the base of the spine to awaken all the in between chakras, culminating at the pineal gland — 7th chakra — in the center of the brain.

Humankind is acknowledged as the crowning jewel of God’s creation: the only creature made in the image and likeness of God-nature. This is by virtue of the fact that, man can Self realize individually, whereas animals cannot.

Col 1:19 puts it “For it was by God’s own decision that the Son (Christ within) has in himself the full nature of God”.

This scripture makes it abundantly clear that, humankind is indeed made in the image and likeness of God, and, more specifically, with full potential for expression of image and likeness.

But two vital questions remain. How is the immensity of God’s full nature accommodated physically in humans, and through what mechanisms?

Let us attempt at unraveling both these intriguing questions.

When we say, God is love and that, God loves us, many cling to an intellectual concept that because God loves us, everything is fine, and that, we do not then have anything further to do regards knowing His love. In settling for intellectual concepts or belief systems, deep down we’re making God responsible for the knowing of our own indwelling image of God nature. The reality is, knowing God is a personal decision — an act of will — where, we choose either handing our lives over to God fully, or choose remaining intellectual on God, in other words, remaining on the side-line of non-commitment to the work required for knowing His image or nature.

And, while positive, intellectualizing only of biblical words can also lead to rigid belief systems, which we feel will reunite us into image and likeness. But intellectual knowledge does not alter the state of the soul, does not bring God-nature or divine consciousness to us. The Bible in essence is instructional and not a collection of belief systems to be learned and verbalized over and over. Ideally, biblical phrases require translation from their literal presentation to esoteric or hidden meaning, thereby making the wonderful scriptures relatable and practical in carrying-out. In the absence of proper translations, we’re inclined to form our own understanding, or relate to other’s views which tend binding us even further to non-soul serving belief systems.

Making A Start

Let us consider a single raindrop. The raindrop is potential awaiting ocean-realization, in that, it exists as ocean-nature but has not realized this. To evolve from ocean-ignorance into direct ocean experiencing, the sun evaporates the raindrop into a cloud, where it eventually localizes to form an individual raindrop, when it then falls back into the ocean to become fully realized in ocean-nature. And, while still in the cloud awaiting unity with ocean, the raindrop still retained all the qualities of ocean.

Similarly, a room full of precious wealth, which no one knows is there, is valueless until an awareness or consciousness enters the room.

An analogy I love, is the younger of the two prodigal sons. The younger one asked the father for his inheritance of the estate (the kingdom of heaven) before setting out in becoming spiritually lost in the material world, and the ensuing transformational journey back to the father. Similar to the raindrop’s ocean potential, the younger son’s inheritance was, of course, full image and likeness of the father’s status. In other words, all the qualities, nature and potential of the kingdom of heaven.

With this in mind, each soul thus is an individuated aspect of God, eteranal Spirit, and, as such is not made, but that it’s the body which is made, or created. For, similar to Spirit, the soul always is, was and always will be. And, gloriously, in making the human body, God genetically encoded humankind with mechanisms whereby we can each come upon His image and likeness nature.

God operates the cosmos through the innumerable laws of Nature. Through impulses beyond ordinary human perception — biblically put, the Will of God. God carries out the daily functioning order of the cosmos in perfect synchronization and harmony. Therefore, the status of God, and the multiple intricacies of His operational nature and capacity, is beyond human comprehension. And, while the human mind cannot comprehend such multiple permutations of laws, God counteracts this by providing the ability of attuning our consciousness with all the laws of Nature, with the cosmic impulses, without having to comprehend the mechanics of the innumerable laws of Nature.

Moving Beyond — Taking Action

Action purifies, thus, for any realizable evaluation of image and likeness of God, the position has to move beyond merely reading and verbalizing on it into implementation — of taking action — particularly with regards Genesis 1:1″in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God”. Without action, nothing changes. By these words, esoteric understanding reveal that, we can enter into direct experiencing of God nature within consciousness.

Let us briefly evaluate Genesis 1:1 and how, by directly experiencing “the Word”, we’re fulfilling this wonderful scripture perfectly. The Word, which is a title referencing vibrational Aum — the sound of creation — is the triggering means-sound of the genetic encoding by which human consciousness gets to know or experience God-consciousness. Therefore, at practical level, image and likeness has to do with the after-effects, the reverberation qualities and resonances of this cosmic Word’s vibrational value in our consciousness. In other words, the sound of Aum resonating in the brain, fires vibration into action, thereby is cosmic nature triggered as a direct experience within consciousness.

Direct experiencing of Aum’s impulses or resonances, reveals that, we’re each a microcosm of the Whole — Potentiates of Divine Nature with creative intelligence of all possibilities. Vibration, thus, is the starting point of fulfilling the soul’s quest for spiritual evolution into conscious harmony and peace – a life of full integration with Divinity. In achieving such, we’re each provided with the mechanisms and channels, and also, as mentioned, with impulse-encoding for knowing His nature directly, for making His Reality our soul’s conscious Reality.

Let us look at the mechanisms or channels through which vibrational Aum is transported throughout the body.

The Human Nervous system

Imagine viewing beautiful scenery through mist-covered spectacles or radio orchestral music tuned between stations, or touching over well-crafted furniture or porcelain with gloves on. This is like how an impure nervous system experiences.

Obviously, this not a medical overview on the nervous system, but a graphic to help internalize the spiritual channels through which Being or Life expresses and reflects. Breaking it into component parts: the body is an extension of the nervous system, which is an extension of the brain, which is an extension of the mind, consciousness or soul, which is an extension of God. These basically are what constitute the physical elements which function to maintain the human body. These advance systems of creation — and their spiritual potential — are what sets humankind apart from every other species in creation. It’s through the brain / nervous system that consciousness vibrates, which vibration, when transcendentally experienced, equates as Divine nature.

As mentioned earlier, intellectualizing only on scriptural image and likeness has to move to another level, into active participation of directly knowing His nature. This other level — of purely knowing — is achieved through refinement of the nervous system, the intended method of the body’s Creator. The nervous system needs to be made a reflective system, capable of withstanding His nature, of directly experiencing image and likeness beyond words and belief systems.

Being the most advance among the species, the nervous system is the seat of consciousness, seat of the soul, or Self, and, soul or Self existence is only in present time. When refined, or made pure, the nervous system reflects His form as expanded awareness, harmony, peace, creativity, in the form of bliss-consciousness – biblically, Light of God. Genesis puts it “God said, let there be Light (let there be divine consciousness).” Thus, to be enlightened means to be divinely conscious, and to be fully enlightened is to be fully awake in His consciousness as our normative standard of living.

God-nature cannot be experienced through a lesser state, thus the human nervous system needs to be re-calibrated, restructured to channel His nature. It’s through the human dynamic that divine consciousness gets to know itself, and, by this covenant, reciprocally, humankind gets to know God. In other words, while God is experiencing His form through the individual consciousness, thus humankind directly experiencing His nature through our own spiritually developing form. As the forms are one and the same, so too the creative ability and manifestations, but just to scale.

Continuous flow of spiritual nature, of natural happiness through the nervous system, is how His form or image becomes imbibed as permanent consciousness. Thus, establishing Divinity within is achieved by culturing the nervous system to withstand ever-deepening bliss-consciousness. In other words, for the mind to have an experience, there must be a corresponding set-up or state within the nervous system. Therefore, by culturing or acclimatizing the nervous system in this manor, image and likeness becomes directly experienced and sustained – consolidated by activity congruent with this nature in our daily life.

Self-realization, or realization of our true eternal nature, is the purpose and goal of each soul, but that the Goal is already in place, we do not create it. Realization of Self – eternal soul — is all that we need concern ourselves with. Each of us is already eternal Self and, as eternal Self or eternal Being, man / woman is inherently Divine Consciousness Itself. We are each the Awareness and not the container of awareness, nor the container of consciousness. We’re each already unbounded consciousness. That, by means of the nervous system, and vibrating Aum in the brain, we can move beyond the limited boundaries of time and space, into knowing omnipotent consciousness — in other words, from singularity to unbounded awareness..

But how is unboundedness Actualized?

Transcendence and Silence

Col 2:3 puts it “Christ (pure silence) is the key which opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge”.

Again, from this scripture, we conclude that humankind is Potential awaiting direct realization as image and likeness consciousness.

Some years ago, I intended running a full Marathon — 26 miles or 40k. But, it soon became apparent that, in order to fulfill this aspiration, much training along miles of cold, wet and windy roads, was required, both by days and nights. Happily, I completed the training task and went on to complete, not one, but three full Marathons. The point being made is, with meditation, we have to put in the training, which means, regular seated sessions of acclimatizing the mind-senses, nervous system and physiology to withstand the inflow of bliss into the system, but, which we can agree, is more enjoyable and less strenuous than Marathon training.

Some hold to the view that, once we believe in God and read the scriptures then that’s all we have to do spiritually speaking. While, of course, this level of belief is truly positive, but, at soul level, it’s really an intention awaiting action on our part — similar to my Marathon quest. Developing such belief or faith requires inner activity and outer action. This inner activity, being the process of gaining subtler and finer levels of silence, is when purification and integration of non-soul serving mind-sets take place, and the outer action, is, expressing such as our normative living standard.

Usually we refer to two forms of silence: outer environmental silence and silence experienced by the absence of mental activity — achieved in meditation. The reason meditational silence is vital is that, this silence leads to transcendence. And, transcendence is vital, for such is when the awareness rises above ego and beyond ordinary silence, as we enter into an altered state of consciousness – into the Light of God.

Matthew 23:12 puts it beautifully: he who exalts himself (unbowed ego) will be humbled, but he who humbles himself (transcends) will be exalted.

Transcendental silence is not inactive, rather latent spiritual dynamism. Some, when starting out in meditation practice, and not being properly trained in how to experience transcendentally, and fearing what is happening, resist the Transcendent, that something is taking them over, not realizing that their Savior has come to town. This experience is normal and to be welcomed, for it’s by regular coming to the transcending point, that God’s nature is gradually realized as His form. Transcendence, being an altered or higher state of consciousness, cannot be experienced by just sitting in ordinary silence — maybe thinking quietly about our next favorite TV program or next meal — which really is just the absence of relativity sound; our state has not ben altered transcendentally.

Thus, in practical terms, personifying image and likeness is about creating a Gap in the incessant thought patterns created on the gross surface level of mind, caused by non-awareness. By means of the Gap — which Gap is the Silence — transcendental silence gradually becomes infused into the very nature of the mind, when a spiritual dynamism comes into play, when His nature begins taking form within consciousness. The process, therefore, is one of becoming mentally still, silent — of entering into meditation — and waiting innocently for transcendence, which happens naturally without effort, and, after meditation, engaging in outer activity. This outer activity is what establishes silence, and its inner nature, in the nervous system, which then is experienced within as separate from outer activity.

While physiologically we’re each encoded of image-likeness of God, it’s transcendental silence which fires the human physiology into functioning divinely or cosmically; it’s when our bliss-nature soul is experienced as separate from the hectic market place, when Presence remains through all the hustle and bustle of normative life. As life is experienced through the mind-senses combination, and as the senses are housed in the nervous system, this is why the nervous system requires purification. Transcendental consciousness is the means through which creation, in all its diversity, reflects Unity within the physiology — as divine consciousness — thus the physiology is now the expression of cosmic consciousness. In other words, the physiology and divine consciousness now both co-existing simultaneously; relativity and eternal God nature cognized as our own Self — the Lord they God within — as the permeating bliss-force of our every thought, word and action, and within every cell of the body.

Only the Self is eternally silent.

To recap in an extended sentence: The process starts with experiencing meditational silence, thus leading to transcendental silence, which silence integrates rigid subconscious ego-patterned thought structures, thus neutralizing residual nervous system contamination’s of stress and tensions, thereby making the inner chnnels sensitive to withstand the bliss surge-flow of higher or pure energy, which further leads to expansion of conscious capacity of mind and to even higher states of consciousness.

And, finally,

Pure Consciousness

Pure consciousness is self-referral consciousness. Due to the fact that nothing of the outside relative order can contaminate or penetrate His nature, pure consciousness interacts alone within its own transcendental status. Referring only within its own dynamic, its own eternal creative structure, pure consciousness lies beyond outer-world interference; thus God is always in heaven as in “our father, which art in heaven” – Lord’s Prayer. Also “where I go (eternal awareness) you (non-realized Self) cannot come but I go (meditation) to prepare a place (transcendental consciousness) for you”.

The opposite of self-referral is object-referral. Where our personal world and societal status is acknowledged without awareness of, or reference to, the spiritual dimension of our higher Self — without experiencing the Self as separate from the material world.

We’re familiar, I’m sure, with the words “give us this day our daily bread” – Lord’s Prayer. As we progress in meditation and the purification process — of awakening the hidden treasures of the eternal soul — we will see these words as pertaining to “give Him His daily bread” – as meaning, by our daily meditation, do we feed Him transcendentally. In bringing ourselves to be still, silent in mind, wholeness and calm pervade the meditation offering, thus our prayer is of pure silence, the highest offering or devotion we can express. But, in registering as pure silence, the intellect must become one-pointed. thereby knowing the silence of soul, purly, and in this way, intellect is made resolute and pure for decision making. Thus, realization dawns that, inner point [of intellect] and Infinity are equal – thine Eye [of the soul] is become single, thus the physiology and consciousness are filled with light, realized in the eternal image and likeness of God.
