The Beatitudes – Knowing Natural Happiness and Divine Peace Within

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

Contrary to formal religion perception, the Beatitudes are not about a man teaching spiritual truths to a gathered audience on a hilltop. When esoterically understood, the Beatitudes are about realization of our Higher Self, the attainment of lasting peace and true happiness by means of real connection with God-nature. Composed through this God-nature or Higher consciousness, the Beatitudes are beyond religious dogma, beyond shallow interpretation and literal-based understanding. Through the process of silence meditation, thus is Higher Self consciousness made reality in our daily life. When lower carnal self undergoes integration of devitalized generational conditioning, thereby has the process of realization of this already pure higher Self commenced.

In this context, The Beatitudes are referring to a particular orientation / attitude of consciousness, which orientation is generally referred to as Higher Self, Christ consciousness, Cosmic consciousness, Liberated soul consciousness, Unconditional love consciousness or Be-ing consciousness. To experience Beatifically, as a conscious everyday awareness, natural purification of the entire nervous system, by way of meditation, is required, as we shall see in the translations below.

The Beatitudes 3-9 read like referring to different levels of future spiritual expectations, which they are not. For, while listed in the plural, the Beatitudes present the single experiential level of Higher consciousness as a now-happening state and not a collection of future reward-promises for adherence to man-made interpretations. A single experiential state within, they are referring to the state of Unity-consciousness while in the state of transcendence during actual meditation — God working through us, not to us.

Beatitude translates: making blessed, becoming blissful or make supremely happy – blessed, blissful and happy – three aspects of One divine nature.

In this context, here is an esoteric synopsis of the Beatitudes: Matthew 5:1-12

1 Jesus saw the crowds and went up a hill, where he sat down

In biblical language crowd symbolizes our dominant repetitive thoughts, and hill our highest point of consciousness. Where he sat down meaning the practice of meditation — becoming mentally still, when intellect retires into silence. Jesus saw the crowds means when we enter into meditation our mental / physical processes become naturally calmed, spiritually aligned, re-energized — transforming to know divinely. This catharsis or integration process through mental stillness is vital for knowing Beatifically, it brings about expansion of mind.

2 His disciples gathered round him and he began to teach them

His disciples symbolize the 12 aspects of human nature which undergo spiritual transition. In practical terms, the 12 apostles are the 12 cranial nerves situated in and around the brain, which, in conjunction with the seven energy centers known as Chakras along the spine, are our means of spiritual evolution. Without these faculties functioning optimally, we remain “stuck” in the time / space dynamic and are functioning through spiritual ignorance — on battery power rather than Mains. These channels, when meditationally awakened — he began to teach them — function in their cosmically intended purpose, that of being instruments of the Divine. Regular stilling of the conscious mind — leading to transcendence of intellect — is how these vital energy channels become activated, spiritually-serving leading eventually to our highest potential, God-consciousness.

3 Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor;

the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!

When the mind becomes truly settled, realization dawns that there is another level of existence beyond ordinary human awareness, a realm beyond human suffering. It’s deemed suffering when our consciousness remains at this ordinary human level, remains in ignorance of our spiritual nature and the potential for Higher Self experiencing. When one’s life — through wrong living, wrong choices, wrong mind-sets — becomes unbearable, as in ‘enough is enough’, the natural tendency is seeking a spiritual solution. Intuitively we sense there is a Nobler existence other than simply existing through lower ego and its related suffering. During meditation we come to know this Nobler existence and its harmonious nature — happy are those. By coming upon unbounded awareness, it becomes abundantly clear that we cannot know divinely, Beatifically without surrendering the lower self and its individuality status. Know they are spiritually poor is: inner knowing without worldly attachments, possessions – being ego-less — thereby know the Kingdom of heaven.

4 Happy are those who mourn;

God will comfort them

Those who mourn are the remorseful, the repentant for their unnatural lifestyle consequent of attachment to the lower ego-created persona. The ego is a psychological illusion invented for blocking out the higher Self, our Spiritual domain, resulting in patterning the mind negatively; a pattern in need of divine alchemy to higher status. But lower ego initially is a necessary means or dynamic of overcoming the illusory nature of the physical world. But, now that we’re faced with a divinely-sourced pattern – consequent of becoming repentant, remorseful and for which purity of inner faculties is required — letting go of lower ego can be traumatic or mournful. But this is how lower-ego becomes integrated, thereby does spiritual ego or divine nature come into focus. Now we’re progressing spiritually – happy are those — comforted without the baggage-influence of the false prophet, lower ego. This is why Jesus rebuked Peter — symbolizing ego: Get behind me, Satan – Matthew 16:23 — become integrated into higher awareness. Lower ego of itself is not evil, its simply a dynamic we must each grow through thereby come into spiritual awareness — evil, meaning living life backward rather than forward; live / evil. The message is in its reverse spelling.

5 Happy are those who are humble;

they will receive what God has promised

There is nothing more humiliating for lower ego than to be faced with utter silence. Therefore, humility, meekness comes with arrival of calm-full silence. Repeated humblings by way of transcendence is how the heart / mind get to know what God has promised – eternal life, bliss-consciousness. In the state of transcendental silence, there is no medium for the existence of opinionated lower ego: individual mind ceases to be, it becomes transcendental consciousness – raindrop merging with pure Ocean. With this retiring of the conscious mind / intellect into the Ocean of pure silence, humility becomes means of directly knowing pure existence — eternal transcendental bliss-consciousness — Happy are those.

6 Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires;

God will satisfy them fully!

As spiritual beings inhabiting a physical body, we’re each required to come upon our higher Self, the already existing pure consciousness. Because we cannot know pure consciousness through impure means, purification of our inner mechanisms — which are presently under the influence of lower self — is what God requires. In taking steps of becoming mentally still in meditation, we fulfill God’s requirement — happy are those. This is how human consciousness transforms to cognize cosmically, universally — know unbounded nature. When such becomes permanently established in consciousness, thus are we spiritually and eternally fulfilled — God will satisfy them fully!

7 Happy are those who are merciful to others;

God will be merciful to them

Being judgmental, unforgiving, continually expressing negativity through the nervous system, will ensure similar life experiences in return: there is no escaping the law of cause and effect: as we sow (in consciousness) so shall we reap (experiential). During transcendence in meditation there is no possibility of duality, of negative emotions such as anger, hatred or ill-will, rather the contrary, for Unity has no opposite. Thus, meditation transmutes, integrates subconscious reactive thought patterns thereby is our consciousness made merciful, compassionate in every expression. Thus, before entering into meditation, be sure not to hold negative mind-sets — happy are those who are merciful.

8 Happy are the pure in heart;

they will see God

To be Pure in heart is consequent of self-purification — purification of our spiritual faculties the nervous system / 12 cranial nerves, lower ego, intellect, thus we see, perceive through Pure Consciousness – they will see God. Absorption of our entire inner being into soul silence is key, thereby is consciousness made free of automatically recurring spiritual ignorance, causal of rooted impurity and suffering. With repeated infusion of bliss into the nature of the mind, then is the soul seeing / perceiving divinely: He – higher Self — healed the spiritually deaf and spiritually blind.

9 Happy are those who work for peace;

God will call them his children!

Becoming a peace-worker (within) is working at becoming spiritually Aware: aware of the defects, limitations and temptations of own human character. Setting about a program of conscious mind expansion — present moment awareness — is how Peace-nature becomes established in the mind and transmitted into the extended world. In knowing personal peace, our spiritual vibration emanates outwards thereby contributes to attainment of the critical mass needed for the whole planet becoming spiritualized. In meditation we become as “children” — light-heart, innocent, ego-less! happy are those.

10 Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires;

the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them

In becoming spiritually awakened to our divine inner nature — coming upon pure consciousness — subconscious addictive patterns begin surfacing into mind for conscious integration — what God requires. During this often unpleasant process, withdrawal symptoms can leave us persecuted on all emotional fronts. But, as the moto goes, this too shall pass — this too becomes integrated, purified, healed — the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them. Overcoming personal addiction can be extremely challenging. In spiritual terms, this temporary discomfiture is something to be happy about, not resisted, for, through a daily meditation program and the help of a detoxification clinic, if necessary, truly are we victorious in this personal persecution – happy are those.

11 Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers.

This is slightly different to 10 where persecution is for what God requires – gain purification — and here persecution is because we have commenced, progressed and are now followers (of divine nature). Recognizing this progress, People, lower ego’s fear agendas, begin surfacing into conscious mind in an effort to dissuade us, throw us off track. Now because we’re a committed follower of Truth, our spiritual resolve to wholeness becomes further challenged by ego. Surfacing subconscious content therefore is to be welcomed for it leads to expansionary awareness which, over time, transmutes as purity of heart. Without conscious awareness — by way of mind expansion in meditation — we automatically suppress unpleasantness thus giving further sustenance to lower ego. Soul awakening awareness is the process of overcoming — the world, ego — happy are you. This deep catharsis commences destruction of the temple (left-side brain / ego dominance) which Christ said He would rebuild — renew spiritually by opening right-side brain-thereby is the persecution dynamic healed. This marks the beginning of becoming whole, happy, blissful – experience Beatifically!

12 Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted.

Evolution is the unending progression of activity: the evolutionary process which always was and will be the same for all beings: This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted. In other words, the wheel of evolution is eternally working out the evolution of all beings, that of bringing each to their highest possible potential – God-consciousness. Because we are each born into ignorance of Higher cosmic nature — causal of all suffering globally and personally — attuning cosmically with the laws of nature becomes the spiritual imperative, thereby gaining freedom from lower self domination – be happy and glad. Evolution — through lower self — is the maturing process we must each undergo in becoming transcendentally aligned with the higher Self’s Heaven state; a process which involves many sessions of transcendence in meditation. In the words of the immortal 5000 years old Bhagavad-Gita: ch2–v45 –“be without the three gunas, O Arjuna, freed from duality..”. The three gunas represent the three evolutionary laws of nature: Creation, Maintenance, Dissolution. Everything under the influence of these three Laws are perishable, whereas, beyond them, transcendentally, lies the imperishable – higher Self domain — here, evolution does not exist as we know it now. Freed from duality means free from the law of opposites (good/bad, love/hate) of the relative world — in Unity consciousness there are no opposites. Therefore, when transcendental consciousness becomes permanently established thus are we free of the gunas, the wheel of evolution / persecution of lower self — the unending cycle of birth / death and rebirth. The goal of life on Earth is reached, eternal consciousness attained, the Great Reward realized — Alleluia!

Be Blessed, Happy and Blissful.

The Harvest Is Big, But the Workers Are Few – Matthew 9:35-38

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

Consider the Bible’s creation. Written over a period of 1,500 years and consisting of 66 books, the Bible was written in 3 languages on 3 continents and authored by 40 writers of many different cultures and systems of philosophy. The Bible’s contributors, from all professions in life, were all agreed on one thing: that there is a unified field which holds everything together in this universe and beyond. The field to which they refer is called the Unified field of consciousness. I believe all these biblical authors were disciplined and committed meditators who knew the secret of transcendence, of coming upon the Unified field of consciousness within, the source of Pure Bliss. Which, could well be the reason why Cyrus the Great 2,500 years ago built gardens of relaxation in the busy capital of Persia.

For this scripture to have any meaningful benefit practically, we must read it as applying to our-self, the reader, and not addressing historical people and events. At its core, much of the Bible’s message is instructional on coming upon the Unified field of consciousness. Because the Bible is symbolism-based, literal interpretation will always come across as impossible to comprehend. In this context, I feel some people can be easily led by robe attired persons spouting dogma through a microphone from a pulpit or dais.

In Matthew 9:37 we read that Jesus informed the disciples that the harvest was large but that the workers were few. Why did He say this to His disciples? In my previous article on the five loaves and two fishes, we established that the Apostles are in fact symbolism for the 12 cranial nerves, the 12 baskets or channels, which, when awakened, become overflowing of divine nature. So, here in Matthew 9:37 Jesus (the process of Higher Self awakening) is again referring to the 12 cranial nerves, the asleep aspects of our spiritual faculties — the 12 basic patterns of human personality, the human soul. But more than that, Matthew 9:37 also implicates the five senses, the chakra / glandular system, the mind / heart and intellect – dynamics through which the Higher Self is birthed, expresses and reflects within consciousness.

So, what exactly is the harvest to which Jesus is referring. Harvest here has a double meaning. It can symbolize the harvest of conditioning, the ego awaiting healing thereby releasing the spiritual potential of our own divine nature directly into consciousness — inner Christ nature awaiting liberation, or transformation of our human hearts and minds, healing the aspects of the lower-self personality. Then, again, harvest is the creative bliss-nature of Pure Being – eternal awareness awaiting the reaper, the knower, the expresser. This can also be understood as “the Promises of Christ” – Promises here meaning the innate eternal Potential of the Higher self. A biblical Promise does not of course mean that if we do this or that then we will get a promised reward of sorts, no, for such would be conditional prayer, of ego conditioning. A bit like that awful phrase “fake it till you make it” – how deceitful a way to live Truth!

We’re told in Matthew 9:35 Jesus went round all the towns and villages healing and expressing compassion in the synagogues, healing every kind of disease and sickness. Such diseases are the cumulative results of wrong living, addictions stored in the lower-self, the rooted illusory mind-sets — to include false dogmas — resulting from spiritual ignorance of our own inner Reality. Esoterically, then, what are the towns, villages and synagogues? Village here means village of the five senses and town means the undisciplined mind and its soul destructive content, while synagogue refers to the 7 churches, the 7 chakras of the glandular system, the foundational base or portals through which spiritual awakening takes place; through which our inner spiritual nature is birthed and grows to become experiential Lamb of God or Christ consciousness. Similar to the biblical husband, Joseph, the seeking awareness who nourished Mary — Spark of divine inner light — into birthing the Christ nature within consciousness. Thus we have village, town and synagogue symbolizing senses, mind and asleep portals awaiting activation for deliverance of conscious spiritual awareness.

For now, let us focus some more on these three symbolism and we’ll return to the “workers” and “owner of the harvest” further on in the article.

The subtlety levels of our mental / nervous system faculties are: 5 senses are grossest, finer than the senses, is mind, and finer than mind is intellect, beyond intellect is He or Christ. The senses always follow the mind, therefore, in order to directly enjoy the spiritual Harvest mentioned in Matthew 9:37 the mind, senses and synagogue must be made capable of reflecting Pure Being or Divine nature within our consciousness. Hence Jesus visited the towns, villages and synagogues – Jesus being the purifying dynamic of refining and perfecting the entire inner faculties which facilitate and uphold Christ Consciousness.

Now, this state of Pure Being, Potential, already exists as perfection within each of us. We don’t create it, rather it’s gained through the space created in the conveyor belt of our habitual dominant thoughts, thereby allowing silence seep into awareness thus kick-starting the whole awakening process – when conscious choice becomes conscious action. The preaching which Jesus engaged in with the crowds in the towns, villages and synagogues was not of course the usual preaching one might expect from a religious Pastor or Priest, respectfully. Biblically the word “crowd” symbolizes excessive thoughts and ego fabrications, therefore, Jesus speaking to the crowds, the people, is the act of purification during meditation, of calming the turbulent, chaotic surface mind and emotions, of making the intellect resolute, steady, thereby making enlightenment awareness a conscious reality. Silence being the loudest prayer, therefore, Christ communication is by way of vibrational silence achieved in meditation. This is how Divine Spirit or Higher Self, encounters itself consciously, how divine communication is made conscious thereby spiritualise matter. Such practice over time decontaminates, dissolves the negative thought patterns of the human condition, the subconscious convictions which blight our Soul’s spiritual harvest of peace, joy and contentment into our hearts and minds. In other words, the sword of Pure Knowledge cuts asunder, depotentiates, the ever-recurring subconscious falsehoods which brought about our initial separation from God. Thus, Knowledge through meditation neutralizes and heals separation-conditioning causal of our Soul’s fall from Grace. Gradually, by the infusion of bliss or divine contentment into the mind, the nature of the mind, senses and intellect become transformed, re-patterned – the towns and villages set free! Thus, Jesus became the Christ. On the way to becoming Christ-nature ourselves we don’t fight darkness rather introduce the light whereby is darkness, spiritual ignorance, eliminated.

Who then are the workers in Matthew 9:38, and, how do we recruit them, and, who is the owner of the harvest? Well, the workers are those spiritually awakened aspects of the 12 cranial nerves, 7 chakras, the 5 senses, mind and intellect which, through regular daily meditative silence, activate themselves to function spiritually. Because these divine channels have remained dormant due to our spiritual ignorance, now, by way of transcendental silence, they awaken to facilitate higher dimensional perception. They, the workers, provide spiritual context to our life, awareness and wisdom teachings which bring inner direction, healing and wholeness to every area of our being and mental environment. Once commenced upon, a daily meditation program will provide the silence the inner faculties require to facilitate divine birth within our consciousness, resulting in a new cosmically orientated life style and understanding. The owner of the harvest is our own inner Christ “the anointed One”, when, in revealing His nature, transmutes the blighted landscape of spiritual ignorance into Revelation of His eternal harvest of Love unto our purifying virgin-consciousness.

In 9:39 we read that Jesus (mind in meditation) “gathered the disciples”, meaning, when we sit to meditate we gather our mind, intellect and senses whereby our entire inner mechanisms come to convergence, atonement, one-pointed, become withdraw from outside sensory stimulation. By this constant alternating exposure to the light of the Higher Self in meditation, are our spiritual faculties (12 Apostles) over time made permanently pure for divine reflection. Remember, the Higher Self is already Pure, it’s the generational conditioning which only requires integration. Thus meditation is the way of becoming a harvester of Christ-nature for re-sowing back into the world, back into the universe where every soul harvester matters.

In meditation the mind transcends the field of relativity. This miracle of bringing divine nature into the relative world is how the individual soul becomes aware of its own God-nature potential, subsequently to become established in, thereby to live such. It’s the means by which our life functions in the Name of Christ — Name of Christ meaning in the Nature of Love — the Higher Self. Expressing His Nature / Name at a practical level is to live the state of His forgiveness towards others in our life, expressing the state of unconditional Love in every situation. For, in truth, we could not perform in His Nature without His forgiveness, without purification of our inner mechanisms. But, ego-consciousness will work to deny such happening thus the need of integration of Higher Self and lower self.

Matthew 9:36 puts it: “As he saw the crowds, (our destructive thought patterns and ego-created mind-sets, our inner hell) his heart was filled with pity for them (the purification which takes place in meditation), because they were worried and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd (fearful, stressed out, without Higher-Self guidance, living through dense spiritual ignorance)”. Then Jesus gave the instruction: 9:38 “Pray to the owner of the harvest (meditate, become silent in mind thereby know Pure Consciousness directly, the Christ within) that he will send out workers (emit divine Love, emit purified waves of love and understanding throughout our consciousness via the 12 cranial nerves) to gather his harvest (making our awareness capable of reaping and reflecting His Nature.)”

The reality is, we cannot know God-consciousness directly in heart through a lesser or impure system, through mind-sets and conditioning which simultaneously deny the Christ within. Hence we surrender the lower-self activity authored by the controlling ego. We willingly therefore surrender this awful yuk which has poisoned our spiritual hearts for so long. In so doing, meditation dismantles the clinging, impacting effects of materialism on the senses. Now, like biblical Peter, we’re ready to walk free from the hellish ego prison and into the eternal loving care of His Almighty Nature, permanently – the cycle of death / rebirth is broken, we have gained eternal life consciously.

If ego crucifying were not the requirement, then our “so called” divine nature would simply amount to a collection of opinions generated through lower ego. Thus meditational silence is the overall purifier of our mental environment. In this context, because the brain primarily knows only 3 states, wakeful, dreaming and deep sleep, transcendence is utterly vital. The brain doesn’t know the fourth state, transcendence, such has to be cultured, developed over time through regular meditation.

Meditation is the safest means of activating the Kundalini life force at the base of the spine which then travels upwards to the crown chakra opening the pineal gland and then downwards to awaken the pituitary gland and the remaining spiritual centers to include right side brain. Essentially it’s the fusion of these two glands which bring about 3rd Eye perception — Eye of the Soul — also termed “the mystical marriage – Christ (within) and the Father as One. Here the full brain becomes familiar in transcendence — when both states, relative and absolute, function in unison happily and spontaneously: “and the wolf shall lie down with the lamb” Isaiah 11:6. Our inner mechanisms recalibrating to function cosmically thereby know Heaven on earth regardless of our physical environment or status in life. Spiritual ignorance is the greatest impurity of life, thus, Knowledge or Awareness, is the great purifier. By way of meditation, ego crucifying – transformation of the lower-self nature– is the single most important work we humans have to perform in our life here on earth. For, in essence, Truth is Silence, Divine Silence, its which sets us free from the lower-self suffering content, the suppressed aspect of our mind. It was stress and mental noise which kept the soul spiritually asleep, hidden from God, now its Silence that awakens the soul unto His eternal nature.

Revelation 8:1 puts it: “When he opened the seventh seal, (crown chakra) there was silence in heaven for about half an hour”.

Biblically speaking, “Amen” was intended as a meditational Word Prayer and not the petitioning words which usually precede it. Therefore, may I suggest “Amen” Rev 19:4 as our Mantra, our Word Prayer, our meditational silence prayer as means of opening the seventh seal, which, Revelation states, no one else can open for us.

To practice: be seated and close the eyes. Pause for a few moments, taking a few inward breaths to calm the physiology. Commence inner hearing Amen over and over gently and softly for about 20minutes daily as follows: AHHH-MMMENNN… AHHH-MMMENNN… stretching the word without strain, without effort, aiming instead for gentle zen-like attention. If the mind drifts into “thinking about”, that’s OK, that’s the beginning of Awareness. Just come back, pause again and restart. Each re-start from the pause will be from a deeper level of consciousness. Its these constant re-starts which deepen Presence, deepen unbounded Silence, make experiential His eternal harvest of Love.

Esoteric Meaning Behind The Five Loaves And Two Fish

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

Matthew 14:15-20 informs us that the Apostles went to Jesus and told Him the large crowd which followed Him were hungry: they had no food with them to eat. The Apostles wanted to send them to the towns and villages to buy food (Luke 9:12). The Apostles informed Jesus that a boy there had five barley loaves and two Fish but which was not enough. Jesus told the crowd to sit down on the grass and to bring the loaves and fishes to Him. After blessing them He told the Apostles to distribute the food to the crowd. After all had eaten the Apostles collected the left-over’s which filled twelve baskets. This basically, as we know, is the gist of what is one the Bible’s greatest but least understood allegorical content.

To derive any meaningful understanding from this story it’s necessary to read it non-literally, for, to read it literally, in my view, offers no practical benefit whatsoever. Also, reading it as applying to our individual self rather than to a crowd of people in some field, as portrayed in the scripture, will certainly deepen expansion of awareness thereby allowing for consciousness-based knowledge assimilation.

<><>

Let us commence this esoteric reflection into the loaves and fish. The Apostles, in this case, are the innately present spiritual aspects, or divine characters, of the awakening soul – the aspects totally committed to the soul’s maturation process into Christ consciousness, hence they’re referred to as followers of Christ within; generally referred to as the twelve tribes of Israel, they are the twelve baskets which become spiritually filled.

The word “crowd” pops up in the Bible repeatedly. In Mark 5:25-30 a woman (symbolizing a soul) wanted to see Jesus in the market place (the mind) and was prevented by the crowd – the crowded thoughts milling around in our head blocking spiritual light. She raised herself above the crowd – entered meditation — thereby touching His cloak, the love nature of the soul. Again, in Luke 19:3 Zacchaeus, a tax collector — one operating out of lower self, a magnet for stress and perpetuator of ignorance, climbed a sycamore tree — transcended his/her thoughts – thereby experience the spiritual Christ presence within. Jesus said to Zacchaeus: Luke 19:5: hurry down Zacchaeus for I must stay in your house today – house meaning dwell within our heart as Presence. In this verse “crowd” is again referring to compulsive thought activity in our head which clouds over our true spiritual nature, thus taking the mind out of present moment awareness thereby compelling it to live out of subconscious thought programs and, in doing so, perpetuating spiritual ignorance. Therefore, “crowd” in this instance symbolizes the multitude of thoughts which swirl around in the head on an hourly basis which are to be calmed, by the expression sitting on the grass – a pasture proving abundance of peace of mind.

<><>

Next we’re told a young boy had five barley loaves and two fish with him. The young boy here symbolizes the non mature or non awakened aspect of the soul, one not yet mature in Christ consciousness.

What actually do these five loaves mean? Are they bakery bread loaves? No, not at all, the five loaves as mentioned are the five senses in their non purified state. This is why they’re referred to as barley loaves, for barley was considered at the time to be a very low form of food nourishment. The loaves symbolize the potential of experiencing Life purely or divinely by providing abundant spiritual nourishment or Christ Presence into our heart and mind.

What do the two fish symbolize? Are they salmon, trout or pike? Well, no, they’re not fish that we normally catch in the sea or a lake. The fish symbol, I believe, represents two arching lines forming the shape of an eye <>. These two fish then symbolize the left/right brain hemispheres, and, more specifically, the pineal and pituitary glands which allow for these two hemispheres becoming one All-seeing awareness or, the eye of the soul. Vitally they contain the Spiritual Idea or Ideal of the whole cosmic universe or divine plan which becomes birthed into consciousness. They need awakening through natural means such as when Kundalini energy rises upward from the base of the spine. These two glands are the distributer mechanisms through which spiritual awareness and bliss infuses into our hearts and minds, when eternality becomes reality within consciousness. This awareness grows to serve as capacity of divine understanding: perceptibility through heightened awareness as opposed to ordinary human discrimination by way of the unstable intellect. In this latter mode, our personal world amounts to compilations of lower ego mind-sets, a life devoid of mature spiritual awareness (hence the boy having only barley loaves). In this undeveloped state our hearts and minds are denied direct Christ Presence within, full stature of life, hence personal suffering.

<><>

Pure awareness is Ultimate eternal reality – “always was and always will be” Presence — and available for each of us through spiritual awakening. This is why Jesus didn’t send the people away to buy nourishment in the market place to get enlightenment elsewhere. Instead, he told them to sit down – to meditate. John 6:3 puts it: Jesus went up a hill and sat down with the Apostles. Here Jesus (divine inner guidance) is informing us to enter into meditation thereby know His love nature directly by way of purification of the five senses and glandular/chakras system along the spine. This is why in Luke 9:13 Jesus said to the Apostles: you yourselves give them something to eat, “them” meaning the entire spiritual mechanisms – mind, body spirit — which require healing from the get-go of our lives, for we’re born with original conditioning, the carry-over from previous incarnations.

<><>

By now we have to accept that, this story, like so many biblical stories, did not actually happen they’re parables, allegorical content to make philosophical points. So, how do we practically bring our five loaves and two fish to Him? By meditation, that’s how, as qualified again in Luke 9:16: Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up to heaven, thanked God for them, broke them and gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people – people being the thought processes, and, broke them, meaning release of the spiritual nectar or bliss into consciousness. This then is where the so-called multiplication of the loaves and fish come in. The multiplication is when our limited human senses are raised, purified to serve abundantly of divine nature; in other words, the more love and divine nature we give away, the more of such we receive – the inner reward is instant – as we sew so shall we reap in consciousness the nature of God, unconditional love.

If I may give an example of how we bring our loaves and fish to Him. Observe the Tortoise. When the Tortoise wants to become non visible it withdraws all limbs inwards into its shell – bodily parts seem non-existent, dissolved. Similarly, when we meditate, our five senses become withdrawn from their object of experience, surrendered from all sense of bodily knowledge. Post meditation our senses then provide a totally different experience by the fact that they have been healed, rejuvenated, transformed to perceive spiritually. Through this regular practice our senses then function to interpret through Christ nature.

The pivotal words of this biblical instruction are: “bring them to Him”. This then is the formula whereby our senses become reconnected into their embryonic state thereby to function cosmically, ability of embracing the All. When, through expansion of consciousness, we begin to see and understand purely — decide through in-formed awareness. The difference thus between allegory stories and reality becomes startling in the form of, clear understanding emergence that there is a higher divine purpose behind this obvious phenomenal existence. That by soul awakening eternality nature becomes a conscious affair, for, here, the will of God has found a compatible nature through which to express — when our personal vibration matters for the greater good of this planet and the entire cosmos. The Nobler purpose of our life is in play.

<><>

Matthew 6:6 reminds us that, when we pray that we go to our room. This room, of course, isn’t our bedroom, attic or any physical space. No, rather we individually go to the quite space or sanctuary we’ve created in our mind; the spiritual temple which our own inner Christ rebuilds for the Bread of Life to be ever at hand daily for assimilation, thereby nourish our transforming consciousness into His nature.

This going into our mind, our temple, is bringing the senses and entire nervous system to Him. This is soul purification: shutting the door to sensory and emotional experience thus halting the incessant mental activity which is controlling our life daily by way of unbroken thought cycles in the brain. Here in meditation we’re not seeking anything, listening for words of wisdom or uttering our wants and needs to Him. Rather, we’re tuning into the transcendental eternal Silence which alone cleanses and uplifts ordinary human consciousness into Christ consciousness – interrupting the cycle of automatically recurring emotive thought patterns. Belief in God at this point is not so much then an intellect decision, rather a coming upon, for, Belief is our natural divine reality, accessed by way of expanded awareness. Entering into transcendental silence — heightened awareness — awakens ability of clairvoyance, clairsentience and clairaudience: ability of clear visioning, clear feeling and soul hearing: intuitiveness which makes the abstract concrete, such as making transcendental silence a dynamic reality within. By transcendental silence is meant the difference between the choppy ocean surface and the calm silence of the bottom, when perceptions beyond the ocean bed open unto our psyche and senses. The experienced difference within is like the crash of a mega symphonic cymbal and the soft touching together of a butterfly’s wings.

Transcendental silence thus serves as capacity of Revelation when we begin seeing Bible stories as events which take place within consciousness: when our consciousness outgrows the need for parable stories; realization that it’s time for maturing beyond the installed Santa Clause paradigms.

<><>

Once commenced upon, this earth journey of discovering Christ within our own consciousness comes to fruition by natural process. For, once that conscious decision of surrendering is made — like the Tortoise — finding and knowing Him becomes automatic regardless of religion or none. Without this process of bringing the five senses to Him we’re merely recycling spiritual ignorance, and, through such ignorance, faulty understanding grows and spreads like an overpowering contamination, a debilitating weed — or swaddling clothes — around our soul. The ensuing suffering thus is prolonged as a kind of blind martyr-like faith. Ignorance of divine nature is what is deemed suffering. In other words, notwithstanding the fact that we’re born, as the Bible puts it, natural man/woman then spiritual, its deemed accepted suffering to knowingly live through the lower conditioned senses when we’re provided with the means of transmuting this Maya, this ignorance prison and its binding influence. In many cases, through imaginary fear of God becoming angry, or our religious friends becoming hostile toward us, we remain loyal to religious dogmas and shallow belief systems which are clearly non soul serving. In this case, enforced literal scripture interpretation can be a major cause of procrastination to inner change and consciousness transformation. Thus it’s vital to see biblical teachings as relating to the human mind and all its complexities and how overcoming it spiritually and mastering this is possible.

<><>

In conclusion, it’s worth recalling the protocol of the mental/nervous system. The five senses are duty bound to serve the mind with pleasurable experiences of any nature. In this context, the non-spiritually awakened mind, senses and intellect do not possess capacity of pure discrimination. The conscious mind thinks but ultimately it’s the intellect which decides. Therefore, making the intellect resolute is how we deal with the wondering mind in search of a sense fix. Bringing the senses to Him, to Transcendental Silence, achieves this miracle of transforming ordinary sensory perception into pure multisensory capacity: we could say water into wine, lower nature into pure spirit.

Personal stress is associated with almost 98% of all illness in the world today, thus making its elimination from our lives globally the single number one priority. Chronic stress is what maintains sub-consciousness or suffering in our lives. To this end, a meditation, Yoga or a mind-centring program of our choice reduces secretion of the stress hormone Cortisol from the adrenal glands and increases release of serotonin – the happy hormone — from the pineal gland in the centre of the brain between the eyebrows; all very good reasons indeed why Jesus instructs each of us to bring our loaves and fish to Him, to meditate daily. Meditation in time leads to integration of the conscious and subconscious aspects of our deeper mind thereby awaken out of compulsive suffering. By withdrawing from sensory experience and entering into utter silence within for the duration of our meditation, we’re fulfilling the above loaves and fish scripture perfectly.

Transcendental Silence – Secret of Bliss and Total Faith

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

The Bible says: “But first [life priority] seek ye the kingdom [transcendental silence] and all else shall be added unto you [raised in consciousness] – Matthew 6:33 KJV.

Beyond these instructional words, what is and where is this kingdom of transcendental silence, how do we evaluate such within individual consciousness? Is it absence of city noise or, the sounds experienced in nature?

Here we have two different sound qualities, yet, in their own dynamical way, each capable of providing inner peace. In both scenarios, silence quality is determined by sound, either present or absent. Thus, in determining sound from the well-being perspective, such is based on the level of mental noise versus mental calm. In this situation, of course, nature always feels to win. But, while being silent in wonderful nature has enormous spiritual benefit, it is not the ultimate silence-experience our soul is searching for, which is, transcendental silence.

Coming upon nature-silence indeed provides opportunity to appreciate the difference between Her sound and city-life sound, thereby, intuitively, we begin pondering these two opposite silences and their vibratory effect upon mind and body.

At the practical level there are two types of silence: absolute and relative. Absolute silence — lying beyond time and space — is transcendental. Relative silence, on the other hand, is what we experience by way of sound or noise being either present or absent; the difference is: one is obvious, while the other, being out of ear range, is perceived transcendentally in heart.

Transcendental silence requires a conduit – something to transcend — thus relative sound is the interactive conduit into absolute silence, the state. In stilling the conscious mind to one-pointedness, gradually soul comes upon its own silence — entry point of absolute state, or, time into timelessness. Thus, mind silence — absence of mental chatter – is the birthing process of dynamical transcendental silence.

In stilling the mind of habituated thought patterns — addictive non life-serving mind-sets — inner awareness comes upon transcendental bliss silence or, total no-sound dimension. And, while initially we may glimpse pure silence only momentarily, with practice it becomes established as unconditional love, also referred to as [the] Spirit of God or Spirit of Love.

If we remain solely on the surface relative level of mind — never unplugging from the unrelenting turbulence of mental activity and anxieties– then the bliss of transcendental silence remains out of experiential heart awareness. We find ourselves struggling against a toxic thought-tide rather than with the clear flow of transcendental silence, which is, divine love. Thus, when transcendental silence becomes established in consciousness, pure existence, the state, becomes a living reality, when the “all else shall be added” — as in above scripture — is confirmed.

Like the ocean, absolute silence is ever-total as love-nature. But, until we extend mind and heart into it, transcendental love-silence remains only a concept, an outer intellectual projection fuelled by dogmatic belief systems — learned sound-bites which compensate the mind only rather than infuse the heart with love. With all the great minds who traversed this planet — both male and female — if intellectual knowledge were intended as the solution of finding inner God, the problem would have been resolved centuries ago. As intellectual knowledge alone does not alter the state of the soul, the solution of finding “God” therefore is to be found within mental silence, beyond the outer orientation of formal conditioning and memory referencing of historical locations and people to appease literal translation of coded biblical narrative. Evolutionary-wise, it is well time for moving beyond fable-based spiritual history.

When direct realization of eternal silence is achieved, individual human consciousness transmutes into God-Nature — unconditional creative love. With this in mind, the imperative remains that the nervous system be cultured to withstand the experience of transcendental bliss silence. Deliberate conscious contact with transcendental silence, as opposed to casual moments in quiet places, is the process of finding and knowing [our] eternal Self or God-Nature. In other words, by losing individual small noise-ridden self, we come upon divine transcendental Self Silence, which Silence IS Love.

When, through regular transcendence in meditation, the brain begins simultaneous assimilation in both absolute silence and relative sound, then has cosmic consciousness become realized state — soul-light silence radiating as undeniable compassionate love. Prior to experiencing soul-silence, no matter what level of relative quietness achieved, it still remains on the surface level of mind. Conversely, as mind becomes more cosmic, more cultured in utter silence, stillness, gradually it becomes transcendentally magnetized — matter becoming spiritualized — thus reflecting its innate status of eternal bliss consciousness.

The single most enlightening outcome of gaining transcendental silence is that of achieving faith-filled consciousness. In other words, separate from a belief IN.., we BECOME that which we previously believed in from afar. This is why Jesus rebuked the Apostles: “where is your faith?” Luke 8:25 — not, where is your faith in him. When the din of world noise dominance is stilled and purified, perceived individual separation from God is bridged and the soul’s innate belief nature transforms into total-faith consciousness — authentic divine nature realized within, as separate from allegorical understanding. By regularly entering into transcendental silence, soul matures beyond base-camp or, physical plane environment, thereby grow out of basic “belief-in” someone or something level, to become soul-realized AS Pure Existence Itself — God-Consciousness, the Summit of human evolution.

Practically, how is transcendental faith-silence attained?

Although “the big bang” happened countless centuries ago, something caused it: some Force, Power or State existed previous resulting in the birth of the physical universe as means of [our] birthing spirit-soul individually as conscious awareness — establishing cosmic nature within our own consciousness. This Bang is still expanding the universe at the rate of millions of miles per day, with an after-sound reverberation. Consequent of the big bang, Om — the primordial sound — is said to be the first sound or vibration of the universe, of Creation.

John 1:1 KJV puts it: “In the beginning [prior to big bang] was the Word [divine communicative process] and the Word was with God [innate God-nature of each soul] and the Word was God [Vibrating Om]”.

Although [our] inner Christ or Word was with God, for this to be made manifest consciously it needs to be triggered or stirred into motion, thus, to realize Word vibration, we use a mantra — which translates, “mind vehicle”. Mantra, such as Om, stills, deepens and, metaphysically, carries the mind through the long corridor of time and conditioning layers to arrive at “the beginning”, Source [of thought], transcendental pure consciousness. And, while it is the mantra that stills the conscious mind, it is the communicative vibration created by it that expands and calibrates human mind into eternal purifying silence, or, God-Nature. By silently repeating our mantra – thereby creating vibration — soul is wakened unto Source, transcendental silence; soul is quickened, realigned and remembered consciously unto its original H[om]e: eternal Love-state, God.

How Far From You-Soul Are You-Personality?

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

While seeming paradoxical, this question contains extreme life-enhancing potential.

Put another way: through what level of dominant consciousness is our life presently functioning – authentic soul consciousness or fake persona?

Persona – meaning mask – fearing hurt through verbal or emotional attack, is constantly in defence mode. Engulfed with feelings of superiority and self-importance, it is quick to anger and retaliate when challenged. Whereas, compassion, born of soul consciousness, is quite the opposite; instantaneous by nature, it is free-flowing and non judgemental in all situations. Thus, our motto should be: when there is nothing to be hurt, there is no hurting, or, eliminate that which is prone to hurt.

Personality essentially is an energy dynamic through which the soul evolves in order to know itself consciously. Generally, when referring to our-self, we refer through the personality, through an emotionally comparing capacity. But, these energy dynamics are not the real you, rather, what the soul uses to know itself divinely. They are but temporary scaffolding to facilitate Spirit emergence, for, at some stage on our spiritual journey to soul, these fictitious templates become integrated, re-nuanced as triggers for compassion expression.

While each person has a soul, which is immortal, eternal, the lower personality is mortal or finite: it is not the eternal You. The purpose of personality is to make coming upon our true divine nature, a conscious reality. Personality dynamic is the vehicle soul engages to reflect its joy and happiness, the medium through which soul finds its way Home. We’re each encoded with this home-coming ability thus, intuitively, we’re each driven to finding inner peace. In this context, to the degree that soul is non spiritually awakened, is the degree of residual unhappiness and stress. To the degree that we accept the artificial personality as real, as king and ruler of our life, is the distance we are from our Self, Soul, Love or, Home.

Deep within we sense this calling to higher soul nature expression. But, coming upon this noble consciousness first requires acknowledgement, or understanding, that Home already exists within. If presently not experiencing this dimension, then, we have either lost our way by over adherence to artificiality, thereby, forgotten, or not recognizing, the entry point into soul. In this context, something unnatural is causing blockage, thereby impeding our perceiving spiritually. Should this predicament be our status, the obvious question arises: what is causing blockage of direct soul connection, how can we re-align and get back on track, thereby come upon authentic love?

The cause of the blockage is mental chaos, the life-sapping debris of a dominant, splintered personality. Thus, it is the chaotic mode or dynamic which we are endeavouring to re-align with soul.

To this end, we look to the physical universe. The first law of the physical universe, is order, nothing concerning the outer physical universe, or, inner life, is by chance happening — every action has a cause, or, reaction of a previous action. Without order, chaos ensues automatically, when everything appears random. In other words, as the universe functions under perfect cosmic law, if this same perfect cosmic law is not operating in our daily lives – in our mind — then chaos is the functioning dynamic. Thus, we can immediately see the potential attaching to mental chaos, to an out-of-order personality. It’s this out-of-order personality which is responsible for individual and global suffering, just to scale.

Have we ever awoken from an unpleasant dream, and, relieved at finding it was not real, how wonderfully exhilarating the awakening moment felt? We had, as if, to “push” our-self awake.

In order to defuse personal chaos in our life, we are intended to “push” through the dream amnion thereby awaken unto spiritual nature, thus freeing intellect from the grip of dominant personality. In this process, the stiller aspect-nature of deeper mind, bliss, is infused into the personality, which then becomes unblocked. When soul and personality become spiritually attuned, thus is divine order established in mind, in our life, in our immediate environment, thereby benefiting the whole o humanity.

As individualized aspects — or hieroglyphs — of Spirit, and to facilitate the seeking / finding dynamic of this higher quiet mind nature, each soul has been stepped down unfathomable levels of Power. Think raindrop / ocean, atom / star, cell / brain, same Ingredient Potential, but just to scale. Similarly, some electrical items have a filtering device to prevent short-circuiting by way of electrical overload.

While personality is the vehicle soul uses to evolve, from the soul’s perspective – not bound by time and space – all its personality traits of anger, rage, jealousy, hatred, addiction, love, joy and happiness, are lived simultaneously. With this in mind, the soul therefore needs only to make ONE CONSCIOUS lifetime journey, which can be this incarnation, should we consciously choose so.

While becoming spiritually realized can be achieved in many ways, the simplest and most practical method is through regular mental silence or personality-purifying meditation. Meditation introduces order into the mental processes, thereby making the conscious mind aware in activity, as separate from subconscious reactive personality traits.

To this end, the significant heart-emergence from meditation, is compassion. Once compassion sets in, wisdom, love and natural behaviour soon become established patterns of expression. In exposing the soul’s capacity of compassion — in making the mind fully conscious through meditation — destructive and chaotic attitudinal traits are exposed to healing. Healed personality thus becomes the prism through which divine harmony, or, soul luminance, reflects in our daily life.

Neuroplasticity – Harnessing the Brain’s Reorganizing Ability

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

In seeking solutions to complex and even abstract situations, generally we seek through the same plateau of shallow intelligence, which, by default, limits in-sight of advance nature. Conversely, functioning through a level of brain activity which promotes intelligence growth, is surly the wisest route. The question arises: how do we access and develop this potential of enhanced brain function for everyday use?

Growth of human intelligence is said to “level off” on reaching around age twenty. This age is generally when our stored or conditioned environmental mind-sets and indoctrinated belief patterns become the dominating thought force – when crystalized mental images have imprinted in our brain as personality and range of limitation or ability. Thus, by experiential association, these subjective templates join-up to comprise accepted life-style behaviour, perceptions and mood-anxiety states.

Due to this “levelling off” of intelligence growth, our life feels as if running on fixed mental programming over which we have no control. But, such “levelling-off” of intelligence production need not be the continuing situation. The reality is, through the brain’s reorganizing ability, we can reactivate this stalled intelligence process at any time, regardless of age, for, consciousness development adheres to no limitation or age determinant, for its expression.

Known also as human growth hormone, this innate intelligence lies in abundance within the Pineal gland in the centre of the brain awaiting reactivation. I say reactivation, because, it is this gland – through non activity — which is responsible for halting production of the intelligence hormone on our reaching late adolescence. To off-set this creative intelligence deficit, a natural remedying technique, of putting the Pineal gland back to work for maximum brain potential, is the obvious solution.

The practicalities of reactivation should therefore be a means of realigning the brain with a restructuring dynamic, whereby, through the plasticity of brain stretching, new neural pathways are formed, thus bringing about expansion of consciousness and greater ability of comprehension, through advance intelligence.

While the term transcending has been with mankind for centuries, science, relatively recently, is now putting this phenomenon into relatable language, calling it neuroplasticity through neurogenesis.

Neuroplasticity is a natural brain stretching function to facilitate production of new intelligence, and, neurogenesis is the term to describe formation of new nerve cells, referred to as neurotransmitters – brain links or triggers for clicking into the dormant wealth of natural creative happiness or genius-status.

In creating new neural pathways, the brain is then in the process of bringing about general body healing and well-being restoration, plus, creating coherence or enhanced communication throughout the entire brain.

Known colloquially as “use it or lose it”, scientifically this expression is termed synaptic pruning: a process where some neural connections or past experiences, become strengthened through use — through conscious living familiarity — while others die, through non use. The imperative being: creating new neural pathways in the brain for on-going consciousness or intelligence development by means of focused awareness or mindfulness.

The Remedy

In meditation, what some regard as a problem — the inability of staying focused – is actually a blessing in disguise. For, such is the progress dynamic, the modus operandi of initiating neroplasticity, neurogenesis, in the brain.

It works like this. Unable to place a physical weight on the brain like on a gymnasium bar, to exercise the brain, we use instead the mind’s habit of drifting in meditation as the weight. Each aware drift followed by a subtle conscious coming back to our focal point of attention for restart — such as a mantra — is thus pushing the brain weight.

Putting this into further meditational context, it is an established fact, that, the secret of learning a musical instrument – or anything new — is spaced repetition. In meditational terms, this spaced repetition of starting and restarting after each wandering, initiates neuroplasticity activity, thereby, neurogenesis capacity. In other words, by regular restarts in meditation, the brain’s ability of becoming focus-familiar creates the impetus for new neural pathways to establish in the brain.

Here, the “instrument” can be a new language, project, hobby, sporting achievement or even a relationship – something or someone we give ourselves to totally. So long as our “new” whatever involves daily spaced repetition, or attention, then the brain is creating new neural pathways of a creative nature, in this area.

This is why having as many happy, pleasant personal experiences as possible, is pivotal. The more pleasant the mental imprint of the experienced moment, the greater does our happiness bank swell. In this context, regular engagement of happiness is what brings about a natural integration or elimination of unpleasant memories, or, synaptic pruning. In other words, through non use, the imprint of engraved non desirable habits, become erased. Thus, by establishing natural happiness within consciousness, inner and outer happiness is lived spontaneously.

If we never take up music or a new project or language, meditation therefore becomes the easily available instrument of retraining the brain, of opening the Pineal gland whereby neuroplasticity and neurogenesis become active dynamics. This is the process of producing more gray matter, hence, new creative channels in the brain.

Think of a pebble dropped in to a still lake and the ensuing ripples. Such is the mantra effect in meditation for initiating neuroplasticty in the brain, and for the transformation of consciousness.

The Crucifixion – Hail, King of the Jews – Mark 15:18

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

On first reading these biblical words, they can come across as negative and condescending.

But, a closer visual study of “the crucifixion” — as depicted by those spiritually qualified artists such as, Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci — reveal a series of coded messages, other than the obvious statement.

The portraits show Jesus with head bowed, [surrendered within] eyes glancing upwards, [symbolic of activation of the pineal gland in the brain], an empty stomach cavity [depicting emptiness of thought – without ego], the Cross, [symbolizing the dual nature of Man], and, finally, a crown of thorns.

The crown of thorns — comprising of inward pointing barbs — symbolizes victory over the carnal mind. It denotes, dominion over oneself – mind and senses — as separate from, dominion over the world, which crown may present as a glittering golden crown.

The crown barbs also denote the emotional suffering attaching to the process of integration, of witnessing our past as it surfaces in to conscious awareness, as we awaken spiritually.

As wonderful as scripture is, not all its writings are meant to be taken literally.

For instance, in Hebrew — like so many pivotal biblical words — the word “hidden” translates as “perfect” or “higher”, therefore, what we read literally, is not always the author’s original intention.

Similarly, the hidden or higher meaning behind the biblical word “Jew” is not in any way referring to the Jewish people, their religion, nation or traditions, but, to one seeking higher spiritual realization, by inward means. The word “Jew”, in this context thus is referring to a meditator, or, a yogi – one who engages silence AS prayer, for, at transcendental consciousness level, silence-prayer are both one and the same vibration.

The importance, therefore, of “hail, king of the Jews” is to highlight, that, when ego is crucified – by inward endeavour: i.e. meditational silence – the practitioner, whatever our religious status, biblically, is termed [a] “Jew”.

“King” is referring to one who has transcended ego, gained mastery over the subconscious aspect of mind. Similarly, in Hindu, Govinda is termed: master of the senses.

What is prayer-silence?

With biblical crucifixion-narrative essentially about crucifying ego — thereby awakening higher Self or Christ consciousness — the subliminal message is, that, this crucifixion, through our own mental faculties, takes place within our own minds.

To this end, periods of prayer-silence or, no mental activity leading to soul quietude, are required, thus leading to crucifixion of our deep-rooted, lower-self nature.

Jesus, as we know, was crucified on Mount Calvary. The Latin for Calvary is Calvaria, in Hebrew, it translates, “Golgotha”, meaning, place of the skull John: 19-17.

Thus, with Mount referring to highest point of inner awareness, crucifixion, therefore, takes place within the mind.

When, through meditation, this highest point of inner awareness is reached, Golgotha is reached — when ego, by way of meditational transcendence, is deemed “crucified”.

What is the purpose of crucifying ego?

Because ego primarily comprises a collection of thoughts, and, thinking that these thoughts are us, we become emotionally attached to them, and even governed by them, when, in reality, we are not our thoughts, for, they have no permanency, whereas, You-Spirit, are eternal.

To achieve dominion over illusory ego, scripture puts it: God said: “Let there be Light” Genesis: 1-3.

In scripture, “Light” means consciousness, therefore, the purpose of crucifixion is to ignite our spiritual or soul Light, therefore, by way of inner silence, let there be raised consciousness, let there be Light awareness within.

“Inner”, in this context, means within the Gap created when ego becomes stilled — crucified by means of reaching Golgotha — place of awakening — or, inner Mount Calvary.

Many repeat endless words as a method of prayer, and, to an extent, this is good, for it represents, God-seeking. But, usually, that which is doing the “praying” is the very thing which needs silencing — thus biblical Pharisees and Scribes are representative of the voice of ego.

To this end, a good prayer is that instrument which enables the mind experience raised consciousness – come into the Light. In this case, the instrument is wordless prayer, such as mantra meditation — a mantra is for the sole purpose of stilling the conscious mind, the chattering ego, thereby, our hidden or higher nature — the Light of Christ — is revealed unto consciousness, as Love, hence, biblical “Revelation”, within.

The mantra vibration is a means of creating a point or Gap in ego’s incessant thought production flow — the fixed tramlines which our habitual thoughts seem to be running on. Consequent of this silence Gap in meditation, bliss becomes infused into the conscious mind, thereby, raised consciousness or Light, becomes experiential at the practical transcendental level.

Each meditation resumes from the purified level gained in our previous session. Beginners, therefore, can rest assured that previous meditational progress, is not lost — even, if restarting the practice after an extended lapse of time.

Having found the bliss-natured Gap, the question arises, through what medium do we experience bliss — how does it reach the mind?

We may say, through the heart (meaning consciousness), yes, but, more precisely, we experience initially through the nervous system and senses, which serve the mind, thus, is how bliss becomes established within consciousness. In this context, putting our “heart” into prayer takes on a newer dimension — our life becoming a divine prayer by way of living Christ consciousness.

Many ignore this crucial aspect of God-experiencing. We may say: my belief or faith is strong, yes, but, such can sometimes be an intellectual accommodation, and not the direct experiencing that scripture is calling for.

In essence, “faith” has a nature – unconditional love – and, when such nature is realized within consciousness, then, the object of faith, is outgrown – we have become as One with [thy] God.

Palm 46:10 puts it: “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exaulted among the heathen, I will be exaulted in the earth”.

This single scripture, I feel, qualifies the entire Bible.

Here, “heathen” is referring to our negative subconscious thought patterns of fear, anger, resentment, worry – or, conditioned ego. “Earth” is referring to man’s ordinary human consciousness, into which, divine nature becomes as “Presence” — lower-self, or “earth”, becoming transformed into divine standard — as in: “Thy will be done, in earth as it is in heaven” — the Lord’s Prayer.

Here, biblical stillness represents not only mental stillness, but stillness of the nervous system. In other words, for bliss to vibrate optimally, the nervous system should become inactive, but not passive. Rather, a state of restful alertness, which is the perfect equilibrium dynamic through which eternal Being reflects.

Biblically Enlightened

Becoming the biblically enlightened soul — which scripture is highlighting — is simply to become fully conscious. To this end, becoming fully conscious is to have no subconscious mind content. For, it is this suppressed content which deprives our soul knowing its true nature. Such content needs integration, made conscious through awareness, hence mindfulness of our immediate inner and outer environment or, being in the present moment.

Thus, in meditation, lower-self egoic nature gradually becomes integrated, crucified, thereby, Enlightenment.

The silence meditational process stills and purifies the nervous system. In this way our medium of experience is made pure to reflect God-nature – thereby meriting the title “king of the [inward seeking] Jews”.

We read: “Pontius Pilate, the Roman Governor, condemned Christ to death, at the desire of the Jews”.

“Roman Governor” here symbolizes the subconscious mind — the compulsive thought patterns which govern and dominate our thought processes, thereby feeding and maintaining the ego. The Roman soldiers are the individual negative thoughts.

While, at first, this may seem contradictory to the earlier definition of “Jews” as God-seeking souls, it is not.

“Jews”, here, still mean a moral, upright soul desiring his/her daily life to be lived through one’s own awakened inner Christ, as separate from imposed, conditioned mind-sets or indoctrinations.

Similar to Herod, Pilate saw nothing wrong [with ego] for both generally represent the same dynamic — lower-self nature spiritually blind to its higher dimension.

“The crowds — “the Jews” — shouted: crucify him, crucify him” Matthew 27:23, meaning, the incessant demand of the soul for spiritual evolution – for realization in Christ consciousness — becomes unstoppable. For, we are each of Christ Potential, or, Son of Man in waiting to becoming, Son of God. Therefore, such a soul sees the crucifixion as resurrection of life in Christ nature, and, not physical death; she sees crucifixion as necessary, and inevitable to bringing about death of the illusory individual ego, thereby know eternal status within our own consciousness.

Thus, the inward crucifixion represents Glory of our soul – hence, “at the desire of the [God-seeking] Jews” – the soul comes into eternal Divine Love.

If we had never heard a word of scripture, we would still find a means of ego crucifixion. We would still achieve Enlightenment through our soul mate, Nature. For, by being totally in her presence, would bring about the Gap whereby kundalini — divine life force — would rise from the spinal column. The soul would naturally be drawn to union with Nature’s pulse of 7.83htz per second, the transcendental vibration — achieved in meditation — our soul yearns.

Noah’s Ark – Creating Peace Within

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

Ark symbolizes the mind, and, Noah symbolizes a soul seeking divine rest or inner peace. Thus, Noah’s Ark depicts a soul in process of becoming spiritually realized – a soul journeying to know unconditional love through creating peace within the mind.

The Ark, we’re told, came to rest upon a mountain — mountain, biblically, means highest point of inner awareness.

Practically speaking, how do we BUILD this inner Ark?

Scripture reminds us, Noah first sent forth a Raven [sea-bird of prey, or, aspect of soul not yet ready for soul awakening] which did not return [purified unto the soul]. In other words, Noah, the individual soul, through spiritual ignorance, initially expressed Raven or lower nature.

Noah then sent forth a first Dove, which did not return. But, seven days later (meaning, after a period of purifying meditation) sent forth a second Dove — a humbled soul in search of peace [in Christ] which returned with an Olive leaf, symbolizing inner peace as a means of developing spiritual awareness within [consciousness]. A land bird, the Dove found land, meaning, came upon higher “mountain” consciousness – Noah, the individual soul, through meditation, transformed from Raven nature into divine Dove peace.

In meditation, when thought stops, Ark-building or unity awareness begins; thus, while engaging mental silence, we’re building an Ark of soul quietude. In this state, with the brain becoming familiar in focused attention, inner well-being becomes a tangible mind state. For, although the soul is uncreated – always was, always will be — we need to create stillness, inner space, thereby achieve conscious contact for peace-nature to reflect in our lives. Moving beyond intellectualizing on divine love to experience directly, thus, is the human imperative. To this end, the stiller the lake [mind], the clearer is the reflection of the Moon [soul-love].

The Flood

Known in Yoga as kundalini, the “flood” associated with Noah’s Ark symbolizes the surge of spiritual energy, consequent of daily silence meditation, which rises from the base of the spine — root chakra — to the top of the head – crown chakra.

Scripture further states: two of each entered the Ark: “two of each” represents duality — good/bad, like/dislike and the multitude of prejudices and egoic mind-sets that make up man’s lower nature – biblically termed, [the] Gentile but, here symbolized as the Raven. These “opposites” are not to be challenged directly, rather, consciously witnessed in meditation, thereby integrating as they surface in to mind. Although this duality dynamic is responsible for distorting reality into illusion, it is also the matrix, which, upon passing through calmly, delivers transcendental nature.

Thus, in transmuting recurring subconscious thoughts patterns, man’s destiny lies within our own mentality.

This Ark process, of creating mental calm within, facilitates peace-nature becoming established in mind, thus our becoming mentally and spiritually attuned with the soul’s divine aspect.

In Yoga It is said: God is everything I don’t “think” God is.

As duality exists only in the relative [world] state of mind, the imperative is creating space to facilitate reflection of transcendental nature, where duality does not exist.

Therefore, becoming non-dual [within mind] is the vital catalyst of becoming aware in transcendental or Unity consciousness. In this state — for the period of our meditation — individual ego does not exist. Instead, rather like a single rain drop merging with the sea, its nature transforms into ocean status. It is this constant familiarization with transcendental mental silence which brings about inner transformation.

So long as duality or opposites exists within the mind, we’re functioning in the realm of divided awareness — through subconscious judgmentalism — which scripture reminds — lest we be judged by our own thoughts — violates Law. This is how, when unconditional love becomes established consciousness, compassion and natural happiness become immediately present in heart.

With “compassion” being the soul’s treasured attribute, it is the great spiritual nugget awaiting soul-awakening, and is why God tells Noah to build an Ark of inner peace.

To this end, development of transcendental consciousness facilitates the soul’s instantaneous capacity of knowing its own creative, non-judgemental love nature for manifestation of good only in the world.

With Zero being the great multiplier, building the Ark therefore commences with becoming Zero in mind – no deliberate thought consumption — when intellect reduces to point, when concentrated silence becomes the All: You/God as One unified state.

In Yoga this is termed, Samadhi – the mind directly knowing transcendental bliss, the unified field of intelligence which underlies all Creation. Zeroing, therefore, is about creating point awareness where love-silence can flourish abundantly, thus, point and infinity, are equal.

Crucifixion In Relation to Ark

We remember at Jesus’ crucifixion, two others were also crucified. These two biblical characters symbolize the two voices of the world: humility and arrogance. The voice of humility said: “remember me, Jesus, when you enter your kingdom” Luke 23:42 – a soul intent on re-consecrating with God. A soul intent on the inward journey of creating mental Ark space or point awareness, whereby crucifixion [of ego] can happen at individual level, transcendentally.

Jesus entered biblical Jerusalem — Uru-salem — meaning, entered “[the] City of Peace” — state of raised consciousness — the donkey symbolizing ego-humility, in meditation.

Other scriptures put it: Jesus entered “the Holy City”, meaning, the meditator entered virgin consciousness thereby giving birth to, or, awakening of, the Christ consciousness.

Again, Jesus puts it: “No one can get to the Father except by me”: John 14:6. In other words, the soul, “Me”, is the intermediary between you and God – all goes through soul first. Therefore, when thought-free space is created — and expressed creatively as love through heart and mind — divine nature takes root and becomes our spiritual domain through which all our actions return as Doves – the Raven is no more.

“Promised Land” And the Ark

A biblical “Promise” is referring to an already existing state within, and, “Land” is referring to consciousness awaiting conscious contact and spiritual direction. Therefore, “promised Land” is consequent of building our Ark. Such enables the soul gain freedom of cyclical re-births into Gentile or lower-self Raven nature — the soul finds eternal Unity AS the Transcendent.

Having listened with heart, and reflected upon God through mental silence, gaining conscious contact with the higher regions of soul becomes automatic: thus, the THOUGHT of God becoming extinct in its realization. In other words, there comes a point in meditation when the conscious mind slips from mental reflection into transcendental soul-love. In this context, the goal of human life lies not in phenomenal existence, but in transcendental nature, where the whole dynamic of Noah’s Ark leads [our] ego to becoming crucified in the Promised Land, in the present moment of meditation.

Fulfilling Our Purpose on Earth

Scripture puts it: “On the seventh day he rested”: Geneses 2:1–3. Seven symbolizes completion, gaining higher states [of mind] beyond ordinary human consciousness. To this end, Psalm 23 also puts it: “He leadeth me beside the still waters” [of the soul] — the act of meditation or, building or establishing Ark consciousness. Noah, we’re reminded, sent forth his Doves every seventh day: meaning, divine-nature is the natural activity following meditation.

In India, the word Yoga translates as unity consciousness, but, when translated into English means Yoke or wooden beam, which Jesus asks his followers to place on their shoulders – take into our minds as a dynamic of awakening dormant spiritual love. The Yoke symbolizes man’s inherent duality nature – biblically termed original sin. Scripture is informing, to enter into states of Ark consciousness whereby the subconscious “yoke” mind [the Raven] becomes transformed, gains “completion” into Dove nature.

In this context, our spiritual purpose is to morph, caterpillar-like, out of the cocoon of Lower law of opposites – (rule of the world) into higher law (Unity or, rule of the Spirit). Thus, our Ark of inner solace, upon “completion” through regular stilling of the conscious mind, translates as experiential eternity.

In practical terms, the allegory of Noah’s Ark is about culturing the brain and nervous system in experiential fourth state of consciousness – transcendental nature.

Presently our brains are familiar ONLY in the waking, dreaming and deep sleep states. The fourth state, transcendental consciousness, requires a “set-up” at practical level within the nervous system. To this end, through repeated meditation, gradually, over time, the practice cultures the nervous system in withstanding [the fourth state of] bliss consciousness, even in our busy day-to-day lives.

Although initiated in the brain, for the mind to experience transcendentally, there must be a setup within the nervous system – hence, building our peace Ark through mental stillness and silence, establishes this set-up effortlessly.

The Ten Commandments – Esoterically

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

[1] “I Am the Lord [Law] they God, thou shall not have strange God’s before me.”

“I” (AM) is un-created eternal present-moment consciousness — always was-always will be. “Strange Gods” is living life through either past or future mind-enslaved states. God is Love therefore, “strange Gods” are lower-self mind-sets or belief systems — to include addictions — which anchor the heart in fear, which is to live untruth when our true nature is Truth or Love.

Raised “I” is the means of conscious resurrection into eternal Love, the goal of human life. In other words, divine awareness is our soul’s single yearning of re-uniting with the empowering organizational Intelligence of Nature, of Source — soul’s optimal functioning state. Non-divine life denies soul its Christ-nature expression resulting in activity alien to Truth, to You the eternal I Am.

[2] Do not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vain

“Name” — meaning nature of something — at soul level is bliss consciousness, or potential evolution, which, without conscious contact [in our meditation], remains dormant or “vain.” “Name” becomes “vain” when expressed negatively against our soul’s desire for evolution, for such automatically rebounds against the expresser — in other words, self-inflicted suffering. “The Lord” means cosmic law, by which law our lives are governed, which can be used for either good or bad or, “vain”. “Thy God” is our personal connection with Love’s nature, the eternally-existing state yearning for conscious “I am”-knowing and expression.

Lord, Law, God, and Love may be taken to mean the same and termed by whatever titles we wish, BUT, “vain”, or negative law-misuse results in the same suffering reality. Cosmic law works in perfect proportion to one’s subjective conditioning — reflections of our positive or negative heart/mind attitudes. Depending on our conscious intentions or subjective conditioning, the laws of Nature always produce reaction or karmic response — known as “cause and effect” — thus action and reaction are of equal proportion. Meditation is the surest method of gaining soul freedom — gaining spiritual harmony with all the cosmic laws of Nature, thus neutralizing karmic responses.

This answers the age-old question of why God is said to allow so many nasty things happen in the world; rather, it’s violation of cosmic law at personal, national or global level which is causal. Thus, it’s we, individually or collectively, who are responsible for invoking the law of “cause and effect” for good or for bad, in the world.

Our purpose on earth, therefore, is to awaken from such devastating ignorance, thereby come into harmony with “thy Lord/Law” within. Without conscious contact with Bliss or Love, we live “Name… in vain.”

[3] Remember to Keep Holy the Sabbath Day

In its literal format we can see this as attending church one [rest] day per week. But, esoterically, the commandment is proclaiming soul development through Sabbath or raised “I” consciousness thus consciously establishing permanent Christ consciousness.

Biblical Saul had his “flash” conversion-moment on the road to Damascus. But “flash” represents only the dawn of spiritual growth. Keeping “Holy” the Sabbath, therefore, is to live that “flash” experience every moment of every day through a Christ-developing consciousness.

Post “flash”, it takes some hours longer for the “Midday Sun” experience. Through our daily consciousness development work in meditation, such is how we “keep Holy the Sabbath” — soul becoming acclimatized in “Midday Sun” evolution.

At the Last Supper Jesus said: “Do this in memory of me” meaning, practice of meditation or Sabbath nourishment leading to transcendence — “memory of me” is referring to direct experiencing of our own Higher Self nature, “Me”, meaning You.

As soul citizens of the kingdom of heaven, regardless of religion (or none), expressing transformed consciousness is our daily “Holy” duty and not simply ritual reserved for church-going days. In the grand scheme of the Creator, no person, whatever our social status or creed, is exempt from “keeping Holy within” [gaining cosmic consciousness] for the greater service and well-being of humanity.

[4] Honour thy Father and they Mother

Throughout my formative years, I took this Commandment to mean ‘love my biological mother and father.’ But, when esoterically interpreted, the emphasis shifts dramatically. “Mother” represents feminine energy (present within both male and female body), while, “father” represents masculine energy (Yin/Yang, again in both male and female). Both mother/father dynamic are needed simultaneously for creation, for conscious awakening unto Unity or God consciousness.

“Honour thy mother”, therefore, is referring to our own physical body or tabernacle-mechanism, which births “thy father,” — divine awareness — experientially. In other words, through our intention, the “mother/father” dynamic conceives and births the Christ-nature into the human psyche, thus awakening and validating our higher soul aspect, which, in turn, heals separation from God — causal of the human condition (Adam/Eve or “the fall of man”).

The body-tabernacle is the facilitating dynamic, the birthing womb of innate mother/father — the modes operandi to experiential eternity, Heaven, or, [our] Higher Self. “Honouring” transpires with the commencement of crucifying or transmuting the realm of opposites: love/hate, good/bad, like/dislike, and so on) through our selected meditation.

We’re born physically in order to activate the mother/father, Yin/Yang energy, thereby honouring our soul’s encoded duty of re-birthing spiritually (of Spirit), thus fulfilling our purpose on earth: Divine consciousness getting to know itself consciously as, I Am, or, eternal You.

[5] Thou Shall Not Kill

The story of “Cain and Able” fits perfectly here. The ego or lower-self (Cain) kills his brother, higher nature (Abel) “in the field” — in the mind. By lower-self is meant, the non-redeemed or subconscious aspect of deeper mind running on auto negative programming — biblically termed, “Jacob”.

We’re reminded, not to extinguish the seed of Life, love — our indwelling Christ – which is endeavouring to birth and multiply within the soul’s virgin consciousness. “Killing” is when ego is allowed dominate and control every thought and outer activity to the detriment of Spirit nature expression, thereby, unwittingly, is spirit-will handed over unto its captures, negative thought — biblical Roman soldiers.

In life, occasions present when inner guidance is attempting “revelation” through insightful wisdom or, change of heart in a given situation etc. The ego will want to “kill” these soul-sourced prompts, for such represents ego’s demise. Therefore, where ego flourishes, spiritual death is happening — termed the wages of sin.

“Killing” is also with regards to others’ indwelling Christ seed and their awakening creative process, which we should not “kill” through condemnation.

[6] Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery

Biblical adultery is referring to: cheating on God. It is when we’re consciously partaking in non soul-serving mind-sets which deny Christ within.

Exposure of virgin consciousness to soul-destroying conditioning represents “adultery” — meaning, “adulterous” against our own soul or, higher self nature.

Our true nature is bliss-consciousness. In this regard, heart fulfilment through a non-purified spiritual system is biblically deemed adulterous or prostitution. In other words, impregnation of virgin consciousness for lower self-gratification is defilement of our inner Christ, or, cheating on God.

As brides in Christ, both male and female, natural fulfilment is designed to be through the natural contentment of bliss. When bliss is realized “within consciousness” then God-Nature becomes our un-denying fulfilment. In this context, lower-self adulterous substitution does not arise.

[7] Thou Shall Not Steal

In reality, common sense informs that we don’t require a Commandment to tell us it is wrong to steal.

Therefore, it is deemed “stealing”, biblically, to knowingly experience a nature which does not belong to the nature of our own indwelling Christ. “Stealing” is experiencing through lower-ego for sense gratification only — to include power and greed. The ego always manipulates to obtain, by non-spiritual means, that which is not our soul’s true nature. We’re deemed “stealing” when contentment is filtered through animalistic nature, or non-developed consciousness — where “the illusion” of the phenomenal world deepens, rather than growth of our soul’s love potential. “Stealing” is when partaking of life’s bounties through a non-spiritual mind, senses, and nervous system, biblically termed [a]”tax collector”.

[8] Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness Against Thy Neighbour

The first point to remember here is, “neighbour” in this context, and in the next two commandments, are not referring to our next-door neighbour or, societal people in general, rather, to our subconscious or subjective mind. There are two dynamical aspects of the full mind: conscious and subconscious. “Neighbour”, here, is referring to the subconscious aspect which hears our every prayer, wish and mental intention.

The subconscious “hears” through emotions and feelings — this is its communicative medium.

“Bearing false witness” is to pray, wish or intend negatively through anger or fear-laden thoughts. If these emotive qualities are charged negatively, then the subconscious accepts these as our prayer-wish and supplies abundance of anger and fear, the emotion in which such was “sent”. The repercussions of which, is suffering. “Bear false witness” is to consciously misuse divinely designed inner mechanisms to Christ-consciousness, for egoism proliferation.

To eliminate suffering potential through misuse of Commandment law, harmonization of left/right brain, or integration of higher and lower-self — to include the five senses of perception — is necessary. The imperative is not to bear falsely — via the non purified five senses — unto the subjective mind, for, such is “bearing” negatively unto the Creative faculty or, the Christ within. As the five senses are duty-bound (either heightened or asleep) to serve the mind creatively and, the heart lovingly, they will serve to either imprison through addiction, suffering, or, vibrate experiential bliss through heightened spiritual awareness.

Therefore, the Lord says: “love thy neighbour (lower-self) as thy (higher) self” Luke 10:29. Thus, when praying, our intentions are made known through love, thereby healing the duality which exists within each human from birth, symbolized by the Cross.

[9] Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbour’s Wife

Of all the Commandments, this surly is one of the most misunderstood. Biblical “wife” is not representative of a marriage partner as we know the term. “Wife” symbolizes a mind-set, a belief system or non soul-serving dynamic. Because of generational mis-praying, we have each inherited false indoctrinations, non soul-serving mind-sets or addictive thought patterns. Here, “thy neighbour” represents the malfunctioning aspects of the subjective mind which over-sees “neighbour’s wife” or mind-sets. As these are non soul-serving, the commandment is reminding that such programming must become integrated, thereby, cease automatically “coveting” lower life.

With lower-self rooted in spiritual ignorance, we can see “neighbour’s wife” as potential for suffering. Here, we’re reminded to awaken unto purification of the contaminated five senses, thereby, is our life-expression, divinely.

Each faculty of our spiritual nature needs to be functioning in harmony with the laws of nature, otherwise that soul is prone to taking on a “wife” — a mind-set, not a person — a belief system with potential for emotional, physical and mental disharmony.

If the intellect is stalled in left brain only, then we’re most likely coveting through egoism — fostering negativity, thy neighbour’s “wife” — rather than through left/right brain coherence.

When bliss is established in consciousness, our spiritual mechanisms become divinely attuned; no longer are we coveting through ignorance.

[10] Thou Shall Not Covet Thy Neighbour’s Goods

Once understood that “neighbour” is an inner subjective/mental dynamic then “neighbour’s goods” is here referring to material manifestation through the non life-serving CONTENTS of the subconscious mind.

The Commandment is reminding of not desiring a life-standard sourced through conditioned, dehumanizing sub-conscious content, the unredeemed aspect of soul; not to misuse the eternal “laws of nature” through a mind state not compatible with our soul’s desire for spiritual evolution.

With ignorance-conditioning being another form of biblical “stoning”, we’re to avoid inflicting wrong spiritual values onto our soul.

“Coveting ” is when we’re consciously out of direct influence of higher-self — when our lives automatically function out of generational conditioning and its after-effect: suppressed emotions through inner conflict, which, together, form sub-conscious content.

Sub-consciousness ensures soul-slavery in lower-self experiencing, such as, destructive, anger-laden thoughts, chronic stress, compulsive worry, ground-less fear and market-place stimulation for life-contentment.

“Before this day is out [period of meditation] You [higher self] will be with Me [as Christ] in Paradise” [bliss consciousness]: Luke 23:43 — lower ego mind-sets transmuting into higher Me, the Christ within, thereby OUR Fulfilling of the Ten Commandments through the single act of meditation.

Jesus Asked: “Who Do You Say I Am?” Matthew 16:13-17

Posted on December 19, 2022December 19, 2022 by Raymond Patrick Phelan

Is this THE most profound question in the entire Bible?

When contemplated through an open, silence-infused mind this question brings about soul feed-back which is truly revelatory. Stirring the deeper consciousness, it addresses natural spiritual curiosity of who and what we really are at core level, and how we can integrate such in more meaningful and loving ways in our day-to-day life, thus progressing our soul into greater realms of spiritual awareness and experiencing.

For now, let us relax and explore this wonderful Jesus composed question: “Who do you say I am?”

Jesus, a true soul psychologist, evaluates wisely then puts the question succinctly, thus making each person responsible for its answer: in which orientation is our heart/soul set — to which inner frequency is our consciousness attuned — love born of Spirit or existence rooted in egoistic lower-self nature? To whom, or what, do we attribute Love, Healing and Forgiveness? What outer conditioning are we dependent on for Christ nature validation? What do we consider our true reality to be?

A simple set of inquiries, I hear you say.

Initially “Who do you say that I am?” sounds relating to a previous era, meant only for the historical disciples and nothing now to do with you/me in this twenty-first century. But, until we pose this question of ourselves now, then that’s how it will always be: other-era relating only.

The reality is, YOU are the single soul this question is being addressed to now in real time.

Similarly, as with biblical Peter — symbolizing lower-self ego, which scripture reminds us denied Christ three times, meaning denied Christ [within] in mind, body, spirit — sooner or later a time comes when we begin questioning words pertaining to eternal life, immortality and ascension, as spoken by Jesus. We begin questioning our purpose for being here: about God, Heaven, biblical names, titles and stories; the universe, pain, suffering, the after-life and everything we’re finitely capable of asking or fearing. As we mature in soul indeed many such profound questions arise, for, many non-clarified scriptural teachings, as the above, constantly emerge into the Truth-seeking mind.

While questioning is normal to a developing consciousness, such usually originates out of lower ego’s concern for its preservation orchestrated through fear-driven mind-sets. Thus Jesus reminds: “Be not afraid, it is I.” But, in relatable terms, who is this “I” we’re not to be afraid of? In other words, “who do you say I am?”

For instance — apart from imposed religious belief systems — how do we perceive biblical Jesus Christ in practical terms. Is it as a historical man, a two millennium ago person to be reverenced BECAUSE of his heroic status then — his healings, miracles and crucifixion — or do we acknowledge the biblical message of Christ [within] as You, a present day inner Potential, a Higher Self presence to be birthed tangibly within our own consciousness? Do we consider or ignore the biblical term/title “Jesus” as the Way — process of Enlightenment [in Christ nature] — or are we, as with most of the major religions, fixated primarily on the outer historical images and stories? Such is the enormity of the above Christ-sponsored question.

Here it may help if we clarify the word “religion.” It stems from the Latin root “Religire” meaning to join back. The purpose of religion, therefore, is to bind the soul back to its divine source. In today’s world of physical violence, power-grabbing, corruption and destruction, is religion achieving this? For some, maybe, but, for countless others, respectfully, no.

Finding Out For Ourselves

When put to the disciples: who do the people (conditioning, indoctrination dogmas) say Christ is, they replied: “some say Elijah, John the Baptist, Jeremiah or some other prophet.” Matthew 16:14

Jesus replied: “[but] what about you, who do you say I am?”

Peter responded: “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Jesus replied: “You are blessed, for this truth did not come to you from any human being (flesh and blood, or man) but it was given to you directly by my Father in Heaven”- Matthew 16:17. The emphasis here is: coming into direct experience of unconditional love or Christ nature.

As mentioned earlier, biblical “Peter” symbolizes lower egoic nature, thus, this was ego’s challenged or commencement moment toward Christ realization — ready to enter the process of soul purification [biblically titled “the Way” or “Jesus”].

Without Peter answering as such — ego surrendering — then the rest of the Bible’s story loses the personally-relating aspect: “Who do YOU say I am?”, for, the Bible is all about YOU, not others. Compiled in coded-wisdom format Scripture represents symbolized word-dynamics for soul evolution, consciousness development, not chronicled history of places, people or events.

Referencing “John the Baptist” – ‘who some people said Christ was’ – is to qualify the difference between the birthing process of rising kundalini from the base chakra leading to Awakening and establishing Christ nature within consciousness. In other words, rising kundalini is the process-conduit of YOU becoming the Christ — pollinating Christ as conscious awareness [Matthew 16-17 above] — biblically termed “John the Baptist”: the level before Christ-coming or, “the One [Christ] who follows [soul Awakening]”.

Born Spiritually Ignorant

Later in Matthew 16-20, Jesus ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Messiah: “Tell no man what you have heard today.” In other words, in the early stages of inner Christ discovering, our newly-sprouting positive soul seeds can be easy prey for “the crows of the earth” (negative thoughts, our own and others’).

It could also be interpreted: don’t push OUR version of Christ onto others who may not be as ready as we are, for, initially we’re each born spiritually ignorant — gentile. Jesus puts it: Lazarus, [you/me pre soul awakening] come forth” John: 11-43 — meaning, roll back the tombstone of subconscious generational soul ignorance, rise above the mire of lower ego dominance — raise our consciousness [through meditational/prayer-silence practice] come into the Light or consciousness of Christ within, now!

Desist from ego-pontificating on Christ until we’re personally experiencing unconditional love born of “water and the spirit”: “water” meaning that level of consciousness initiated through meditation, otherwise, ego maintains a controlling influence over the awakening process, thus, a tethered freedom, if you will.

While beneficial to a certain point, sermonized words, written or spoken, do not validate Christ nature. Here, each must witness personally to direct realization of Unconditional Love.

Acts: 12:16 states: “Peter kept knocking”. Although Peter acknowledged Christ as the Messiah, it was an intellectual reply only, it wasn’t a Heart experiential reply as could be expected from “John” — symbolizing Higher Heart nature.

Peter, we’re reminded, asked the Lord: “where are you going”? Jesus answered: “you cannot follow me now where I am going, but later you will follow me” John 13:36 – meaning, post [our] ego crucifixion we will know Christ within.

Peter’s reply: “Lord, I am ready to die [ego crucifying] for you” [John 13: 37] doesn’t signify full integration of mind, body, spirit: the Re-ligire state; rather only the “ready” or intentional moment to Full Humanity.

Like with Peter, to internalize the Messiah — Christ — we too must “keep on knocking” by regular daily performance of our selected meditation: “he motioned with his hind (commanded his intellect) be still” – Acts 12:17

But also in Acts: 12:17, notwithstanding Jesus’ earlier ordering “tell no one”, Peter says: “tell this to James and the rest of the believers”, which seems contradictory.

But, we remember in: “Transfiguration on the Mount” Matthew 17:1-13: Jesus took Peter (ego), James (mental aspect of soul) and John (higher soul nature) apart [within] up a high mountain [meditation], meaning mind, body, spirit of man attaining highest point [Mount] of inner Christ awareness, coming upon Christ status through meditational or inner Mount silence.

While Peter “acknowledged” Christ as the Messiah, he wasn’t a fully committed [to practice] believer, hence, it was only after persistent “kept on knocking”, of repeated meditation, that, “at last, they opened the door”: his thoughts calmed and he was allowed in — transformational process into Christ consciousness.

Thus, as an integrated believer — “allowed in” — qualifies Peter to tell the rest of the believers, meaning awaken the other inner apostles [in the brain], the spiritual qualities of the soul. In other words, by our own meditational endeavour we initiate the already in-place spiritual mechanisms of awakening kundalini in the base chakra — lower ego is now alchemising into higher spiritual personality.

Rising kundalini from the base of the spine is the practical initiating process of birthing the Christ nature at experiential well-being level.

As sure as midday-sun follows dawn, once our mental processes become familiarized in transcendental silence, transformation establishes automatically thereby achieving inner Christ awakening. Thus are “rest of believers” or the 12 disciples [12 Cranial nerves in the brain] becoming cosmically active — establishing of Christ nature in consciousness.

Who Am “I” – Who Is “You”?

Due to unrelenting addictive thought patterns, the seeming authentic nature of conditioned illusion makes identification with such compelling.

Thus, the transmutation journey of illusion into Christ Consciousness is primarily integration of small [illusory] “I” into Higher [Reality] “I” awareness.

Due to previous lifetime inheritances leaving each of us functioning at different levels of spiritual evolution, different vibration levels of ignorance, understanding and perceptions, we’re not all seeing the same green, blue or yellow through our standard red, green, yellow life-glasses. As such, until a degree of conscious integration is made, perceptions through the small “I” are somewhat blurred, out of sync when relating spiritually to, or identifying with, higher “You” as in “who do YOU say Higher “I” (Christ) am?”. In other words, consciousness assimilation through the small “I” gives a false or illusory perception of now reality, therefore, integration of the programmed mind — the subconscious or biblical “swaddling clothes” — is required by way of our selected inward meditation.

Conditioned mind will say: I am Catholic, I am Protestant, I am Muslim, Hindu or, I am no religion — which also qualifies as egoic labelling. We may say: I am Irish, I am American, she is Canadian, he is English, they are French, Australian, African, Asian etc or, we’re all one — until it comes to the emotionality of our imposed national/societal identities. But, does this labelling TRULY define us — give added spiritual status to our soul? Does it define higher “You?” No, not in the slightest! Then, who is defining or asserting on “You/spirit” identity?

The answer is, the reflection of the illusion, “the world hypnosis”, and the captured mind’s identification with living such untruth — the real rejected for the fake. The accumulations of faulty understanding [from birth] of society, parents and peers; the indoctrinations and dogma buy-ins of both political and religious establishments, to include sections of “corporate”.

Formal conditioning as such of the subconscious mind and the resultant contaminated thought prism through which it reflects, is THE single major barrier to experiential Christ consciousness. Many, as we see in the world today, act out this labelling (as belief systems), resulting in a fictitious “You”, thereby creating a self-identity crises where inner turmoil and rebellious anger overflow to devastating proportions, all to justify, at any cost, the programmed mind-sets and birthplace identity of the illusory small “I”.

Those who’ve worked at lower “I”/higher “I” integration – resurrection of spiritual/compassionate nature – pay little attention to such false labelling. Authentically-endorsed souls are almost incapable of violence against their neighbor. Think Mahatma Gandhi, for such is the benchmark approach of Christ realization: Unity through peaceful means within and without – “as above so below”.

Ask ourselves: to what end is MY Christ nature Potential being channelled daily – creatively or destructively, selfishly or Heart-cantered, wisely or through ignorance. The difference, on a personal/national/global level, is only to scale.

Of course, proclaiming status unto ourselves through the ego only defines our ignorance. Thus our mental state becomes overpoweringly left brain only driven, rendering spirit-nature-relating primarily intellectual rather than soul integrated left/right brain functioning.

Thankfully, from a practical perspective, remedying “the world” hypnosis is no more difficult then entering into the deep silence of meditation, where Transcendent “I” is directly experienced — the inner dynamic-status which crucifies lower ego, the illusion. It’s then, when small “I” is fully surrendered unto all-encompassing cosmic divine love nature that OUR answer to “who do you say I am?” becomes loud and clear. We discover, at the non-physical spirit level, that you are the eternally-existing “I”, the Risen Christ within our own transformed consciousness.
