The Bible says: “But first [life priority] seek ye the kingdom [transcendental silence] and all else shall be added unto you [raised in consciousness] – Matthew 6:33 KJV.
Beyond these instructional words, what is and where is this kingdom of transcendental silence, how do we evaluate such within individual consciousness? Is it absence of city noise or, the sounds experienced in nature?
Here we have two different sound qualities, yet, in their own dynamical way, each capable of providing inner peace. In both scenarios, silence quality is determined by sound, either present or absent. Thus, in determining sound from the well-being perspective, such is based on the level of mental noise versus mental calm. In this situation, of course, nature always feels to win. But, while being silent in wonderful nature has enormous spiritual benefit, it is not the ultimate silence-experience our soul is searching for, which is, transcendental silence.
Coming upon nature-silence indeed provides opportunity to appreciate the difference between Her sound and city-life sound, thereby, intuitively, we begin pondering these two opposite silences and their vibratory effect upon mind and body.
At the practical level there are two types of silence: absolute and relative. Absolute silence — lying beyond time and space — is transcendental. Relative silence, on the other hand, is what we experience by way of sound or noise being either present or absent; the difference is: one is obvious, while the other, being out of ear range, is perceived transcendentally in heart.
Transcendental silence requires a conduit – something to transcend — thus relative sound is the interactive conduit into absolute silence, the state. In stilling the conscious mind to one-pointedness, gradually soul comes upon its own silence — entry point of absolute state, or, time into timelessness. Thus, mind silence — absence of mental chatter – is the birthing process of dynamical transcendental silence.
In stilling the mind of habituated thought patterns — addictive non life-serving mind-sets — inner awareness comes upon transcendental bliss silence or, total no-sound dimension. And, while initially we may glimpse pure silence only momentarily, with practice it becomes established as unconditional love, also referred to as [the] Spirit of God or Spirit of Love.
If we remain solely on the surface relative level of mind — never unplugging from the unrelenting turbulence of mental activity and anxieties– then the bliss of transcendental silence remains out of experiential heart awareness. We find ourselves struggling against a toxic thought-tide rather than with the clear flow of transcendental silence, which is, divine love. Thus, when transcendental silence becomes established in consciousness, pure existence, the state, becomes a living reality, when the “all else shall be added” — as in above scripture — is confirmed.
Like the ocean, absolute silence is ever-total as love-nature. But, until we extend mind and heart into it, transcendental love-silence remains only a concept, an outer intellectual projection fuelled by dogmatic belief systems — learned sound-bites which compensate the mind only rather than infuse the heart with love. With all the great minds who traversed this planet — both male and female — if intellectual knowledge were intended as the solution of finding inner God, the problem would have been resolved centuries ago. As intellectual knowledge alone does not alter the state of the soul, the solution of finding “God” therefore is to be found within mental silence, beyond the outer orientation of formal conditioning and memory referencing of historical locations and people to appease literal translation of coded biblical narrative. Evolutionary-wise, it is well time for moving beyond fable-based spiritual history.
When direct realization of eternal silence is achieved, individual human consciousness transmutes into God-Nature — unconditional creative love. With this in mind, the imperative remains that the nervous system be cultured to withstand the experience of transcendental bliss silence. Deliberate conscious contact with transcendental silence, as opposed to casual moments in quiet places, is the process of finding and knowing [our] eternal Self or God-Nature. In other words, by losing individual small noise-ridden self, we come upon divine transcendental Self Silence, which Silence IS Love.
When, through regular transcendence in meditation, the brain begins simultaneous assimilation in both absolute silence and relative sound, then has cosmic consciousness become realized state — soul-light silence radiating as undeniable compassionate love. Prior to experiencing soul-silence, no matter what level of relative quietness achieved, it still remains on the surface level of mind. Conversely, as mind becomes more cosmic, more cultured in utter silence, stillness, gradually it becomes transcendentally magnetized — matter becoming spiritualized — thus reflecting its innate status of eternal bliss consciousness.
The single most enlightening outcome of gaining transcendental silence is that of achieving faith-filled consciousness. In other words, separate from a belief IN.., we BECOME that which we previously believed in from afar. This is why Jesus rebuked the Apostles: “where is your faith?” Luke 8:25 — not, where is your faith in him. When the din of world noise dominance is stilled and purified, perceived individual separation from God is bridged and the soul’s innate belief nature transforms into total-faith consciousness — authentic divine nature realized within, as separate from allegorical understanding. By regularly entering into transcendental silence, soul matures beyond base-camp or, physical plane environment, thereby grow out of basic “belief-in” someone or something level, to become soul-realized AS Pure Existence Itself — God-Consciousness, the Summit of human evolution.
Practically, how is transcendental faith-silence attained?
Although “the big bang” happened countless centuries ago, something caused it: some Force, Power or State existed previous resulting in the birth of the physical universe as means of [our] birthing spirit-soul individually as conscious awareness — establishing cosmic nature within our own consciousness. This Bang is still expanding the universe at the rate of millions of miles per day, with an after-sound reverberation. Consequent of the big bang, Om — the primordial sound — is said to be the first sound or vibration of the universe, of Creation.
John 1:1 KJV puts it: “In the beginning [prior to big bang] was the Word [divine communicative process] and the Word was with God [innate God-nature of each soul] and the Word was God [Vibrating Om]”.
Although [our] inner Christ or Word was with God, for this to be made manifest consciously it needs to be triggered or stirred into motion, thus, to realize Word vibration, we use a mantra — which translates, “mind vehicle”. Mantra, such as Om, stills, deepens and, metaphysically, carries the mind through the long corridor of time and conditioning layers to arrive at “the beginning”, Source [of thought], transcendental pure consciousness. And, while it is the mantra that stills the conscious mind, it is the communicative vibration created by it that expands and calibrates human mind into eternal purifying silence, or, God-Nature. By silently repeating our mantra – thereby creating vibration — soul is wakened unto Source, transcendental silence; soul is quickened, realigned and remembered consciously unto its original H[om]e: eternal Love-state, God.
